“Book Burning”
Original Air Date- Oct. 5, 2008

Have you ever kept a diary or journal? Well, Kitty did while they were on the campaign trail. She jotted down notes and little stories. A friend of hers edited it together for her into a book. Robert has heard a rumor of a book out there and asked her to find out who wrote it. Now she's nervous about telling him.

So the Walker family is back.... and man are they back. Last season we left Kevin married to Scotty, Kitty married to Robert and looking to adopt a baby, Justin fighting his feelings for Rebecca who was but now is not his sister, and Sarah agreeing to let Tommy and Holly take over Ojai Foods in return for getting them out of danger of bankruptcy. Clear as mud, right? Well, tonight doesn't make it any less convoluted.

Time: 8:00PM EST
Host: Ty Pennington
Show: Desperate Housewives
Premiere Date: Sept 28
Time: 9:00PM EST

Where We Left Off: For those of you that don't remember where we left off last year--we were 5 years in the future. Bree was married to Orson, still and she had just published a cookbook. Lynette's boys were in and out of trouble with the police. Gabby had 2 girls of her own. Katherine's daughter, Dylan, was in Paris and getting married. And Susan was no longer married to Mike, but had a new husband. I cannot wait to see what happens!!
Program Description: A primetime soap with a truly contemporary take on the "happily ever after," "Desperate Housewives" takes a darkly comedic look at suburbia, where the secret lives of housewives aren't always what they seem.
Show: Brothers and Sisters
Premiere Date: Sept 28
Time: 10:00PM EST

The compelling one-hour drama series, which is about a collection of five enmeshed and somewhat damaged adult siblings and their strong but passionately devoted mother, Nora Holden (Oscar and Emmy Award winner Sally Field). The Walkers' lives have not been without challenge; romance, parenting, divorce, infidelity, addiction, war and even death have pushed each of them to the limit, but they continue to work toward living their lives as individuals, while loving each other unconditionally and trying to maintain some semblance of normalcy after the loss of their larger-than-life family patriarch, William Walker.

Fall premiere dates for the 2008-2009 season were announced today for the ABC Television Network by Stephen McPherson, president, ABC Entertainment.
“We are very excited about the return of our core group of shows from last fall. "Brothers and Sisters" Recap & Review - "Prior Commitments"

The second season finale of Brothers & Sisters sure doesn’t feel like a finale. Not much happened in the episode, no major arc was resolved, and there was no cliff-hanger. That being said, it was an enjoyable episode, and perhaps, the only finale aspect that it had was that it ended with a wedding. But not just any wedding, a “Commitment Ceremony” wedding.

"Brothers & Sisters" Recap & Review - "Moral Hazard"

“Moral Hazard”
Original Air Date: May 4, 2008

Ojai has no hope, and even though it’s Saul’s fault I can’t help but sympathize with him. In the latest installment of the Walker Saga, the family business goes under, a “sibling” is shunned, and someone else joins the family.
Kitty and Robert are attempting to have a child the old-fashioned way, and even though we don’t know if that bears any fruit. Rebecca finally comes clean to Justin about her blood status. But not until Justin admits to Rebecca that it’s awkward being around her because for the one fleeting moment that he thought the two of them couldn’t be related, he had more-than-sibling feelings for her. When he later attempts to apologize for what he said, Rebecca throws the bomb on him that she’s not his little sister. Suddenly, he’s not sorry so much as pissed and he calls her a liar, just like her mother, telling Rebecca to leave and stay away. Which is what Holly has just said to her.

As is to be expected with a large ensemble cast, there will always be a Walker on the fringe. That Walker always seems to be Tommy. Who in this episode, served just for occasional comic relief, when it was discovered that he knows way too much about fertility treatments. Will Tommy have to cheat on his wife again in order to have a story line?

The Walker Clan is back in full-effect, and I’m super excited to finally reconnect with my TV family. Last time we saw the Walkers Robert was the Republican Front-Runner, but on this Super Tuesday eve, he’s lost the election to some old guy that I don’t remember at all from the last episode.

TwoCents Fall Preview - Sundays (ABC)
Is Sunday the start of your week or the end of it? That always confuses me. Well, anyway - you can start or end your week with the following Sunday shows on...
ABC
Show: Desperate Housewives

Gargy's TwoCents: Last we saw Lynette was diagnoised with cancer, Bree was bed ridden, and Gabby married her politician man while Susan married Mike. What we hope to see is more hijinks from Susan, Gabby being Gabby (can't say much, since I know some spoilers), Lynette going into remission, and of course Bree being Bree.
