So the Walker family is back.... and man are they back. Last season we left Kevin married to Scotty, Kitty married to Robert and looking to adopt a baby, Justin fighting his feelings for Rebecca who was but now is not his sister, and Sarah agreeing to let Tommy and Holly take over Ojai Foods in return for getting them out of danger of bankruptcy. Clear as mud, right? Well, tonight doesn't make it any less convoluted.

At Ojai, it turns out that Holly's “guidance” of the company turns into taking it over. She and Tommy inform Sarah that they are making some cuts in staff. First person to go? Well, the attorney. Now let's see.... in the Walker family business, who is the attorney? Yep, Kevin. She wants to fire their brother but they don't want to tell him just yet. So Sarah is left furious with Tommy and holding a secret that could seriously hurt their family. Can she keep it? Well, it gets around to Nora, who confronts Holly. Holly gets on her high horse and tells Nora that she's no longer party of the company and therefore has no say at all. In addition to that, if she wants to speak with Holly again, she needs to call and make an appointment just like everyone else.

Simultaneously, Kevin is meeting with the head of his law firm. He's the top producer for the firm thanks to the account with Ojai Foods. *insert groans* As the top producer, he's in line for a promotion to partner. The top guy offers him the keys to their vacation house for a few days...”Bring your family, it sleeps 12!” Kevin decides he'd prefer a quite weekend with just Scotty. Do you think that he actually managed to go away for a weekend without his family?

Returning to his office, Kevin continues his attempt to track down Ryan. You remember this thread, right? The picture of the baby that was none of the known Walker kids... they then thought it was Rebecca but now know it's not so now they're continuing the search and have settled on this Ryan who is the son of a lady that used to work at Ojai. In talking to a friend of his Dad's, Kevin manages to get contact information for him. Now this raises the question of who, when, how, and if they contact him. He takes this question to Sarah and Nora. While discussing this, they decide to keep it a secret from everyone else and Kitty walks in catching something that Kevin said which, in trying to keep Kitty from figuring out the real meaning of the discussion, turns into him inviting the entire family to the vacation house for the weekend.

Flipping to Rebecca, she's apparently babysitting Sarah's kids. Justin shows up and shoos them upstairs for homework. Once they're upstairs, they talk about keeping their relationship a secret for a while and then he starts kissing her. Um.. Note to readers: If you want to keep a relationship a secret, do NOT start kissing the other person in a house with kids... trust me, they will surprise you by coming into the room and seeing you. Oh wow, and there they are. So Justin bribes them to keep quiet about it...thus turning him into their minion.

Shift to the vacation house, everyone is relaxing. Kitty approaches Sarah about this wonderful letter that Sarah wrote as a recommendation for Kitty and Robert to adopt. Kitty references a story that was in the letter which Sarah laughs and said she enjoyed that story too. Well, that story wasn't in the letter. Evidently Sarah was so busy that Nora ended up writing the letter for Sarah. Kitty learning this is extremely upset and wants nothing to do with Sarah.

This vacation house is very fancy with lots of wonderfully expensive, and breakable, things. Enter the Walker family with kids and yep, it's a disaster. There is an accident and in the midst of the hubbub around that, everyone decides they need to come clean about something. Justin admits he and Rebecca are in a relationship, upsetting Rebecca who wanted it kept secret. Kitty makes a dig at Sarah, letting Nora know that she knows about the letter. Sarah tells Kevin about Tommy and Holly deciding to fire him. Then the whole Ryan things comes out. The family vacation breaks up pretty quick after that.

Once home, Nora decides to confront Holly again. This time she basically calls Holly a back-stabbing uh.. sorry, can't say that on here, but you get the idea. Then, knowing how well her family keeps secrets, she decides she wants to be there when Holly learns that William had an affair with another woman and had a child with her, so she tells her. Holly claims not to believe her but we all know she does.

As we leave the Walker clan, Sarah sends Kitty a letter that she'd actually written. Kitty, of course, reads it and softens toward Sarah a bit. Kevin confesses to his boss that he lost the Ojai account and that a few things were broken at the vacation house then refuses to speak to Tommy when he calls. Lastly, Justin makes up with Rebecca who was upset because she's just worried that if they breakup, she loses the entire Walker family because there's “no room at the table for ex-sisters or ex-girlfriends.”

So it looks like the focus next week is on the progress of Justin and Rebecca's relationship, and a book that Kitty wrote. Do you think they'll contact Ryan? Will Ryan want anything to do with the crazy Walker's? What on earth is in Kitty's book? Will Holly get her comeuppance? Will Kevin and Tommy work things out? Will Kevin get promoted or will he even be able to keep his job at this point? Too many questions. Thank goodness it's only the first episode of the season! Tune in next Sunday to see if we get any answers!
