For the record, and since I’m sure people will be picking sides, I’m on Team Margie & Luke. Actually, I’m more on Team Complete Misunderstanding, but that isn’t one of the choices. How about Team Let’s Just Move On? No? OK. Team Margie & Luke.

Lets say you’re in a race for a million dollars. Would you not make sure you were familiar with all of the rules and regulations of said race? Yeah, me too. But apparently, that is not as common-sense as I thought.

So, Siberia... You are cold and desolate. You are full of Soviet-era mass housing and blocky statues. You are also, apparently, a perfect place to run a marathon… in skivvies.

Picture your worst travel day ever: flight delays, fog, technical problems that send you back to your airport of departure, etc. And what if you are trying to get from, say, Austria to Romania but get stuck for the night in Amsterdam? Now picture having such a day while in a race for one million dollars! Yikes! This is not going to be pretty.

I usually post the Recap & Review for The Amazing Race right after the show, but I was so frustrated with last night’s episode... here I am, 12 hours late, forcing myself to write. Ugh. Why do the stupid people get all the breaks on this show? And why do the nice guys always finish last?

Remember last week when I sarcastically asked the question "Will Andrew and Dan ever get their shoes back?" Well, I shouldn’t have been sarcastic about it at all. In fact, it should have been a very serious question, because how in the world could a team run the race with no shoes? I mean, really! No shoes!

One would think the criteria for acceptance onto The Amazing Race might be a little more stringent. For instance, if a team can’t follow simple directions (or even attempt to READ the directions), then maybe they should not be on the show. I guess it does make for good TV... here I am talking about it.

In this episode, the teams traveled from Cambodia to India, two competitors fell in love (well, “like”), rickshaws were painted green, and the word “babe” was used 362 times. For those keeping score, that's 361 times too many.

In this episode, the teams race from Brazil to Bolivia, which poses two major problems. The first is altitude sickness. Bolivia is about 13,000 feet above sea level. If one is not accustomed to that altitude and insists upon running around a lot, one will need to be hooked up to an oxygen machine. The second problem in Bolivia? Professional wrestling outfits. 'Nuff said.

Seriously… have any of these contestants watched the show? Ever? I get so mad at these people sometimes because of their sheer stupidity. I have a low tolerance for it. Does a clue that says “Follow the marked path to the taxis” or “Tell your taxi to wait for you” mean anything? Tonight I found myself shouting to the heavens, “Please let this be a triple- or even quadruple-elimination!”
