Remember last week when I sarcastically asked the question "Will Andrew and Dan ever get their shoes back?" Well, I shouldn’t have been sarcastic about it at all. In fact, it should have been a very serious question, because how in the world could a team run the race with no shoes? I mean, really! No shoes!

  1. Remember last week when I sarcastically asked the question "Will Andrew and Dan ever get their shoes back?" Well, I shouldn’t have been sarcastic about it at all. In fact, it should have been a very serious question, because how in the world could a team run the race with no shoes? I mean, really! No shoes!

The Top 4 Things I Learned About The Amazing Race 13

Toni and Dallas [Mother and Son] : Finally! After always coming up short, Toni and Dallas arrived at the Pit Stop first. And the “Awww!” moment of the evening goes to Dallas. No, not because he held StarR’s hand in the airport! Because he said he was running the race for his mom and that he would do anything to win it for her. Everybody say it with me: “Awww!”

Ken and Tina [Separated] : After a pretty rocky race, this couple has calmed down a bit and are starting to communicate more, which will help them greatly after the race itself is over. They arrived at the mat in Russia second.

Nick and Starr [Siblings] : Talk about your bad luck with Taxis! One communication barrier after another almost caused Starr’s head to explode, and she was sure they would come in last. After a streak of four first place finishes, this brother and sister team came in third.

Andrew and Dan [Fraternity Brothers]: To answer the question at hand – they did NOT get their shoes back. And where did they shop for new ones? The airport! Probably the most expensive place on the planet! This came back to haunt them later when, after being driven around all day by the same cab driver, they couldn’t pay him because they were flat broke. They are lucky the guy didn’t call the cops on them. And I’m not even gonna talk about how they misread their instructions at the Detour. The two friends came in last at the Pit Stop but…

It was a non-elimination round. They’ll live to race one more day in their horribly expensive shoes.

What do YOU think? Are you as frustrated as I am with these people? Have you EVER seen a man with as little coordination as Dan (or was it Andrew? I can’t tell the difference.)? Give us your Two Cents… We’ll put it in the shoe fund.

Next week: You’re Gonna Get Me Killed
