Well, here we are – at the end of another volume. It was filled with highs and lows, but I have to admit that towards the end, there were more highs. And while the finale wasn’t picture perfect, it did set us up for the next volume titled ‘Redemption’. This is the last recap until September, so let’s cut to the chase.

Two things I couldn’t stop giggling about during this episode: Zachary Quinto’s eyebrows and ‘Crimson Arc’. Both are unfortunate for wooing the ladies. But in all seriousness, after so many close ups of Sylar, I just wanted to take tweezers to his head. This is the episode before the season finale, so let’s get recapping.

Last week’s episode had me on the edge of my seat, ready for today and here we are; supposedly about to learn more about one of my favorite characters, Angela Petrelli. She’s been shrouded in secrecy for a while now, so I won’t keep you waiting.

Okay, Heroes. You’ve got my attention now. I can’t successfully say that I was bored during this episode at all, so kudos! I don’t think the show has fully redeemed itself yet, but it is definitely getting there, and if it can keep up this momentum, we’re in for one awesome season finale. Dare I say that I’m excited to tell you what happened?

Apparently, I was the only person unimpressed by last week’s episode but that’s fine by me. Everyone’s a critic, right? I was so looking forward to a showdown between Sylar and Danko and all the little mind games that I couldn’t see the forest through the trees. I was promised something better though, and I eagerly anticipated what the writers had in store for me.

After a slight delay due to weather, (thanks, tornado season!) Heroes recaps are back! The internet was buzzing with how amazing the episode was going to be, so I suppose it’s my job to recap it and let you decide. So, shall we?

Well, well, well. What is this I see? Heroes actually entertaining for an hour? I’m kidding of course; if there’s one thing the show has never faltered on, it’s being entertaining. The problem comes with trying to make everything connect so that the whole story makes sense and we’re not left feeling like we just wasted an hour of our time. So how did it do this week? Let’s see.

If ever there were more a complicated yet cliché television show on television, then we could compare Heroes to something. As it stands though, this show is unlike any other, and that isn’t necessarily a good thing. Here’s what happened:

I hate to say it, but Heroes has not convinced me that it’s back in rare form. I had high hopes; I always have high hopes. But after promising that we’d get answers about whether Bennet is a good guy or a bad guy, we still don’t really know much else. Here’s what happened:

You know, sometimes this show is really great at surprising new twists and keeping me on the edge of my seat (hey there, Season One!) and other times it feels like we’ve done so many things before. In no particular order, I’m tired of hearing ‘YATTA!’, I’m over Sylar’s daddy issues (because come on, we all know there won’t be a happy ending), and I’m ready for Claire to go away for a few episodes. But I’m getting ahead of myself here.

Another week another episode. We still don’t know the specifics on what’s going on, but it is getting interesting to say the least. The episode starts right where we left off, just as the plane is going down. And it looks like none of our theories were right – Peter isn’t absorbing powers. He can pick them up one at a time, but when he gains a power he loses one. Here are five other things you need to know about the episode.

Welcome back Heroes fans! It’s been a long month without the confusing, usually head scratching antics of those silly writers, but here we are again with ‘Fugitives’. I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve been watching the previews with baited breath and wondering how this wasn’t just the X-Men redone. I’m a fan of lists, so here are the five things you need to know about this episode.

I’d like to say thanks to the readers who took the time to e-mail me their concerns about how long a standard solar eclipse is. For the record, Wikianswers says that a total solar eclipse could last no longer than seven minutes and they happen about once every 360 years. (Again that’s a FULL eclipse. Partial eclipses are very common.) Take that creative liberty any way you want; we have an episode to recap!

After my last Heroes recap, I realized that I wasn’t quite as enamored by the episode as I thought, so now I’m hesitant to write down any newfound praise for this show. While I’m enjoying the show by pretending like I’m just a casual viewer, it still feels like the pace is frustratingly show, but let’s recap it and see what you think, shall we?

Previously, Elle got kicked off of Heroes. Do you think that showing her in the preview could mean that she's going to be in the episode? Let's watch! By the way, if you haven’t seen it yet, Entertainment Weekly features Heroes on its cover. The article harps on how to improve on what has been a lackluster season thus far, so pick it up to see what the rest of the critics are saying. Now, let’s recap us an episode.

A few people have asked me what I thought about season two, and my last recap should tell you the answer. I was so unimpressed, that I completely forgot about Maury Parkman. Most of you took the time to point out to me that he was the one talking to Mr. Petrelli at the end of last week’s episode. Now that I remember boring plot devices from season two, (sorry) let’s see if I can get through a recap without forgetting characters who should still be trapped in their own nightmares but are free with no explanation.
