Then they get jerked in line by Dr Banfield, the new chief of the ER, played by Angela Bassett.

They were found in dead in trunks. In the LA river (which isn't really a river), in the middle of a freeway, on a building rooftop... and all before the opening credits. You've gotta hand it to the writers of Life, they don't skimp on the season opener.

Last season we left Kevin married to Scotty, Kitty married to Robert and looking to adopt a baby, Justin fighting his feelings for Rebecca who was but now is not his sister, and Sarah agreeing to let Tommy and Holly take over Ojai Foods in return for getting them out of danger of bankruptcy. Clear as mud, right? Well, tonight doesn't make it any less convoluted.
