It's 10pm. Do you know where your children are? That's what I kept thinking watching this episode. It's every parents worst nightmare I think, his or her kids turning into a narcissist, and the kids in tonights show definitely fit that term.

The murder victim is a man found duct taped to a lawn chair in the bottom of a mostly empty pool. According to the man's youngest daughter, her dad got a phone call that upset him and then he took off. She said he mentioned a place called the Bankley building. When she says this, the older girl goes a little nuts. Evidently, the older daughter regularly gets text messages giving a location and time of a party. Always a different empty building somewhere. They do not know who sends the messages. She was at a party that night at the Bankley building. However, she can't remember anything about the party the night before because someone slipped something in her drink. They are back to square one so they decide to get a little creative.

Crews goes down to the holding cells with a hooded sweatshirt hiding his face . He overhears a couple of thugs talking about a “monster”. They pull the guys out to talk and find a vial of steroids in their personal effects. Tracing them back to a fitness center, they find the owner, who is also a doctor, prescribes them to members as part of a health regimen. As he is a doctor, he refuses to give the names of club members claiming doctor patient confidentiality. So they decide to stake out the club and see who comes and goes.

A fast little sports car drives up with a license plate that reads “Bankley”... yeah, as in the name of the building where the party was held. Following Bankley, they find a few of his friends. Marty, the very large 'roid user; Annabelle, the girl everyone loves; and Patrick.... I'm not sure exactly how to describe Patrick. I will note that he is the son of the fitness center owner. The two guys who talked about the monster pick Patrick out as the one who gave them the steroids in exchange for numbers of pretty girls from the neighborhood. They know they are on the right track, but these kids are rich and Annabelle's mom is a high price defense attorney... there's no way they can just bring them in and talk to them. So again, they get a little creative.

They find the friends and Crews taunts Marty. Marty goes into a rage and takes Crews down. They arrest Marty for assaulting a police officer. But all they manage to get from Marty is his alibi of sleeping at his therapist's house the night in question before his lawyer takes him away. The therapist backs up the alibi but eventually admits that Patrick told her to lie. She agrees to wear a wire to try to get Patrick, but Patrick catches on pretty quick and jerks the wire off of her then says a few things to the therapist before speeding away on his motorcycle.

Watching this, Crews wonders about how the daughter overheard the father the night of the murder because there was a lot of noise. She admits that she really followed him and saw him murdered. She identifies Marty as the killer. Then the therapist calls. Marty is there in a rage. They arrive and try to calm him down but he falls down and dies. Turns out he'd been overdosed on a hotshot of steroids. They ask the medical examiner not to release the body and bring Bankley in to see. Bankley can't handle it and tells them that Patrick is the one who tells them all what to do. Patrick runs the parties and when Bankley found the victim's daughter there drugged, he used her cell phone to call her dad to come get her. Marty attacked the father when he arrived and killed him. Bankley then admits he can't find Annabelle. They track down Annabelle and talk her and Bankley into helping catch Patrick.

Annabelle and Marty both call Patrick and claim that Marty had come to them, completely crazy, saying that Patrick had tried to kill him. Crews and Reese walk in telling Patrick that Marty points the finger at Patrick for the murder. Patrick says that it was really Marty and all Patrick did was give Marty the high dose shot of steroids but obviously that didn't kill him. Crews tells him he's wrong there and they arrest him.

Now that's the episode storyline. But in the background of all of this, we have Rachel who is refusing to speak a word. The doctor says that it's not a physical problem. Crews brings in his ex-wife, who was pretty close with Rachel's family, but Rachel doesn't even look at her. Crews and his ex end up in the back of her car making out before she snaps back and realizes that it's her husbands car. (Hasn't she wanted absolutely nothing to do with him until now??) Jack Reese corners Ted, Crew's house mate, and threatens to have his parole revoked if they don't back off. Then Crews decides it's time for a new car. He buys a Maserati. A NICE fast car... fully outfitted with lights and siren. To christen the car, he pulls over Jack Reese. Gives Reese a little poke about his missing file and then tells him to stay away from Ted. He walks off and Reese drives away. Crews gets in his car and smiles as we hear Reese making a phone call. Turns out Crews used the little stop to plant a listening device on Reese's car.

I'm about ready for this Jack Reese/Rachel storyline to move forward. It seems to me like it's stalled a bit. Yes, he found Rachel but didn't get anything from finding her. What do you think about it? Do you think Jack Reese is the one who is behind it all? Is it someone else we don't expect? Is Rachel going to snap out of it and talk? What is going on with his ex-wife?

Don't miss Monday's new episode and then again next Friday!!
