The Walker Clan is back in full-effect, and I’m super excited to finally reconnect with my TV family. Last time we saw the Walkers Robert was the Republican Front-Runner, but on this Super Tuesday eve, he’s lost the election to some old guy that I don’t remember at all from the last episode.

Then it’s three month later and Kitty and Robert are trying to get pregnant (using a fertility treatment, isn’t that a no-no for Republicans?); and Nora and Isaac are shackin’ up. But Isaac’s leaving for Washington DC to take a professorship, and he wants Nora to go with him. Now, I love Isaac and Nora, they’re so perfectly old and lovely – just what people their age that are dating should be – so I would love for them to be together. In California, because the Walkers just aren’t Walkers without Nora. All the siblings agree with me, because they really don’t want their Mom to leave.

Graham and Sara are getting busy, which is putting a huge damper on the Ojai business. Scared that her affection for Graham is getting in the way of her business judgment, Sarah decides to pass on a deal to bring in even more bundles of cash. Saul is noticeably angry about it, but sucks it up.

It’s also Rebecca’s 22nd birthday, and her first one as an official member of The Walkers. The Birthday celebration brings with it a few revelations, the most important ones being that (1) Robert misses presidential politics, but doesn’t want to tell Kitty that, (2) David just might be Rebecca’s real birth father, and (3) Nora is planning on leaving to Washington DC with Isaac to get away from her bratty selfish children (her words, not mine).

As the episode wraps up, Justin goes with Rebecca to get a paternity test, just in case David might be her real dad. Robert gives Kitty her daily hormones (to get pregnant) when they receive a call from the guy that beat him in the election. McCallister for VP?!?! And Nora, well, she’s staying behind in California; it’s time for her to learn how to enjoy her own company.

Is it just me, or did the writer’s strike make every show even more amazing than it was before? I’m serious, I had been missing the Walkers like WHOA and this whole episode kept me engaged the entire time. There was never a single moment that I wasn’t actively engaged in the storyline. But for all it’s greatness, I do have one bone to pick with this episode. It may or may not have to do with the departure of the show’s creator (Jon Robin Baitz), but maybe he was the only one to keep the storyline straight, because I’m wondering – how did Robert go from Republican Front Runner to massive Loser on Super Tuesday? Did he clear things up with Kitty about not being sure he wants to have more children? Last time we saw them, Nora and Isaac just had two dinner dates, either Nora moves fast, or a lot of stuff happened that we didn’t see. And of course, the question that will always be on my mind, where is Jason McCallister, and why isn’t he in my bed with Kevin? I love Scotty, but I love Jason more. Wouldn’t you agree?!

Anyways, can’t wait until Sunday, where it looks like the result of Rebecca’s paternity test will be revealed! I still can’t decide if I want her to be a Walker or not . . .
