A new park for children is planned to replace the garage, but a surprise stay of execution happens when someone chains himself to a column inside the garage. That someone is Monk! And this happens to be the garage that Trudy was killed in.

The Murder –
A high profile athlete and a woman get into a limo to continue a night of partying. After they arrive at the next stop, the driver takes the player’s playbook and makes a call to meet someone. He makes a copy of it and sells it to a man. The next day the player discovers this and confronts the driver and tells him he’ll be calling the authorities. Hearing this, the driver gets in a struggle with him and hits the player across the head with a crow bar killing him.

Tonight we start with a murder-less opening, but not without a crime. A man sneaks up to steal a bicycle and during his getaway hits a pothole. Natalie and Monk happen to be in the area, and Natalie helps the guy get “his” bike back together. She soon realizes what’s happened when the rightful owner comes out running to retrieve the bike.

A woman is in a jewelry store looking to trade in a piece for cash, but the storeowner thinks that the piece is too valuable for them to pay for. He agrees to try to look for a buyer, but it may take a week. She goes out to her car and we find out that she is Sally Larkin, a former actor, and she is going through a messy divorce. We hear a scream, and when the owner runs out, she is gone!

After 6 plus wonderful seasons of Monk, it has reached it’s centennial episode. I’m surprised for Monk’s sake that they didn’t end the show on this nice, even number. (But I’m glad they didn’t).

The episode opens up with a show named ‘In Focus’ with James Novak. The subject of tonight’s episode is none other than Adrian Monk. Apparently Monk has solved 99 cases and is working on his toughest yet... searching for a serial killer.

We open this episode under the sea. Captain Whittaker is looking for his second in command. A Lieutenant comes to the bridge and tells him that he can’t find number 2, but his cabin door is locked. The Captain, Lieutenant, and others go to the door and call for him. They hear a gun shot, and break the door down. Lying on the floor is the XO, with a gunshot wound to his head. It is an apparent suicide.

The episode starts with a guy breaking into a gym and rigging up a boxing bag. He cuts a hole in the side and puts some C4 into it. The next day a trainer and a boxer come in to train. The boxer is about to hit the bag, but is stopped by a vagrant who was sleeping in the gym. The boxer gives him 10 dollars out of kindness, and before the vagrant leaves he punches the bag and it explodes.

News on Monk, Psych and "quarterlife"

NBC announces a new premiere date for its critically acclaimed Internet series "quarterlife" from Monday, February 18 to Tuesday, February 26 (10-11 p.m. ET) before it settles into its new regularly scheduled day and time of Sundays (9-10 p.m. ET) beginning March 2.

As a result, "Monk" and "Psych," two hits from USA Network that were previously scheduled for their broadcast premiere on NBC on March 2 (9-11 p.m. ET), will now debut on Sunday, April 6 at 8-9 p.m. (ET) and 9-10 p.m. (ET), respectively.
