"Two and a Half Men" Season Finale Recap & Review - "Waiting for the Right Snapper"

Two and a Half Men
"Waiting for the Right Snapper"

Original Air Date: May 19, 2008

Victoria - TwoCents Reviewer
victoria@thetwocentscorp.com

Jake is planning to scrape through seventh grade and Charlie and Alan fight over their new mommy. Meanwhile Berta threatens Alan and Evelyn is a card-carrying cougar. Welcome to the season finale of Two and a Half Men.

Charlie is in therapy. The therapist clearly sees what we saw last episode – Charlie’s new “girl” is the epitome of a mommy complex. He still doesn’t get it. The therapist recommends more sessions before kicking him out to see her next patient. That patient is Alan who is concerned because he’s in love with his brother’s girlfriend. They should rename the show Two and a Half Mommy Complexes.

"Two and a Half Men" Recap & Review - "Fish in a Drawer"

Two and a Half Men
"Fish in a Drawer"

Original Air Date: May 5, 2008

Victoria - TwoCents Reviewer

We start this with a recap of last week where I notice for the first time that Charlie asked Courtney to marry him during his mother’s wedding. Something tells me that she didn’t understand what he was trying to say because she said yes. I was too distracted by the weird wedding vows and the frozen butterflies to notice any of it. Wonder if guest star George Eads from CSI will investigate the butterfly deaths or something more sinister?

"Two and a Half Men" Recap & Review - "Look at me, Mommy. I'm pretty"

Two and a Half Men
"Look at me, Mommy. I’m pretty"

Original Air Date: April 28, 2008

Victoria – TwoCents Reviewer

Evelyn gets married. Charlie becomes a stalker. Alan becomes a gay man. Jake does much of nothing and Berta throws frozen butterflies. Just another day in Malibu for the Harper boys.

Alan is doing his best impersonation of a gay wedding planner as he spends the entire episode worrying about flowers and frozen butterflies – oh and keeping Charlie and Courtney (their about-to-be step sis played by Jenny McCarthy) out of each other’s pants. Courtney surprises everyone when she announces she has no problem avoiding sex with Charlie – she’s actually fond of how close she and Evelyn have become and wants to keep it that way.

CBS' Sweeps Plans

An unprecedented CSI and TWO AND A HALF MEN "writers' crossover," cliffhanger finales and the crowning of the Ultimate Survivor, are among the highlights of CBS's May sweeps.

A CSI investigating a murder at Charlie Harper's house? Grissom and the team investigating the mysterious death of a diva sitcom star? It's all part of a first-ever "writers' crossover," in which CSI's writers will pen an episode of TWO AND A HALF MEN and MEN's scribes will write an episode of CSI.

The May 5 episode of TWO AND A HALF MEN is written by CSI writers Sarah Goldfinger and Evan Dunsky from a story by CSI executive producers Carol Mendelsohn and Naren Shankar. The May 8 episode of CSI was written by Chuck Lorre and Lee Aronsohn, executive producers/writers of TWO AND A HALF MEN. (See show highlights below for complete storylines.)

Also in May, the winner of SURVIVOR: MICRONESIA — FANS VS. FAVORITES, will be crowned in a special two-hour broadcast followed by the live reunion show hosted by Jeff Probst; Drew Carey returns to host four new PRICE IS RIGHT MILLION DOLLAR SPECTACULAR primetime specials; and Reba McEntire hosts the 43RD ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS.

"Two and a Half Men" Recap & Review - "Rough Night in Hump Junction"

Two and a Half Men
"Rough Night in Hump Junction"

Original Air Date: April 21, 2008

Victoria - TwoCents Reviewer

Charlie seems to be trying to win Malibu’s Most Slutty title. He’s sleeping with up to up to 8 women a day, leaving chicks in his bed at 9am to go on another hook-up. Alan’s worried. Charlie’s not only being slutty he’s being stupid –husband and boyfriends are showing up and taking swings. And to add injury to... well, injury, Charlie is getting sex injuries. Between the angry men and the sexcapades Charlie ends up with 2 black eyes, a broken nose and several facial lacerations. Oh and an arrest for solicitation.

Here's what's going on Mondays over on...

CBS

Show: How I Met Your Mother
Premiere Date: September 24th
Time: 8:00PM EST
TwoCents Staff Returning Comedy Rank: 6 of 12
TwoCents Staff Writer: TBD
Starring: Josh Radnor, Jason Segel, Alyson Hannigan, Neil Patrick Harris, Cobie Smulders.
Premiere Description: "Wait For It" - When Robin shows up with an Argentinean Adonis by her side, Ted decides he is ready to hit the town with Barney and his performance is legen...wait for it...dary!, on the third season premiere of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER. TV by KP: I've watched the premiere episode and I was laughing from the start. Enrique and Mandy both give fine performances and the regular cast pick up right where they left off. I'm sure Neil Patrick Harris had a LOT of Emmy votes last night and will again this season!

Show: The Big Bang Theory
Premiere Date: September 24, 2007
Time: 8:30PM EST
TwoCents Staff New Series Rank: 19 of 26
TwoCents Staff Writer: Gargy
Starring: Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar
Description: Leonard and Sheldon are brilliant physicists, the kind of "beautiful minds" that understand how the universe works. But none of that genius helps them interact with people, especially women. All this begins to change when a free-spirited beauty named Penny moves in next door. Sheldon, Leonard's roommate, is quite content spending his nights playing Klingon Boggle with their socially dysfunctional friends, fellow CalTech scientists Wolowitz and Koothrappali. However, Leonard sees in Penny a whole new universe of possibilities... including love.
TV by KP: Watching the premiere episode of this show, I had one prevailing thought - this is just like any other sitcom that tried to make it and won't. It plays on the stereotypical 'geek' and the hot neighbor. We've seen it before and I'm not thinking this show will last, the cast is lacking that one hilarious character that could make it work.

Show: Two And A Half Men
Premiere Date: September 24th
Time: 9:00PM EST
TwoCents Staff Returning Comedy Rank: 10 of 12
TwoCents Staff Writer: TBD
