  1. Charlie, the original man-whore, is still attempting to change his ways and make a real relationship with Chelsea. I have to assume that this is because she’s the only woman left in California who he hasn’t schtupped.

Chelsea tells Charlie that she’s leaving for a few days to go to her former mother-in-law’s funeral, where she will be staying at MIL’s home with her ex-husband. Apparently this is a large home and everyone will be staying there. Charlie isn’t jealous until he realizes what HE would do in this situation. Yeah, he would be the one to hit on a girl at a funeral. Chelsea assures him that her ex would never do something so inappropriate. I hate when you can see where a show is going before the “Starring” credits are over.

Having a free weekend, Charlie invites Alan and Jake to a movie, on him. Of course everyone accepts, plans are made, clothes are changed and the crew begins to head out when what should appear?! A young, drunk, blonde Random Hottie rings Charlie’s doorbell. Apparently they’ve rendezvoused before and in her stupor she decides to come back for more. The movie is, of course, cancelled so that Charlie can entertain his guest.

Before you can say “Bippity, Boppity, Bimbo” the girl is in Charlie’s room & clothes are being removed. Fortunately Charlie comes to his senses and realizes what this would do to his relationship with Chelsea. As he relates this epiphany to Alan the phone rings. Chelsea is coming home early because (dundundun) her ex made a pass at her during the funeral. Really? Never saw that one coming. (eyes roll to the back of my head) Oh no! She’s only minutes away & Random Hottie is passed out in Charlie’s bed, whatever shall they do?! Hilarity ensues as Chelsea arrives and the guys play “Hide the Hottie”.

In the end Alan & Jake drop the ball and Random Hottie is allowed to wake up and wander through the house looking for her shoes. Would you believe that she left them in Charlie’s room? Where Charlie and Chelsea are about to reunite. The scene closes with a line that Chelsea should get used to: “Funny Story …”

The tag line for this episode belonged to Charlie.

Will they ever give Jake a brain? The poor kid is dumber than a box of coat hangers! Could you deal with a scamming brother like Alan? Do you like the attempt to make Charlie grow up? Where was Berta this week?! Leave us your two cents in the comments. We’ll donate them to Jake’s SAT tutoring fund.
