Instead she gets a semester of detention while Adrianna goes to rehab. And Naomi finds a hottie named Ozzy in detention.

Enter new kid – cause we don’t have enough characters one the show. Her name is Kim and she’s from Las Vegas and likes tacos. Oh and she’s a bitch to Annie. She also seems to be a little catty with the teacher, Mr. Matthews, and it earns her detention. I don’t get what her story is and they don’t really explain it.

Debbie Wilson is missing her fam. Seems that Dixon, Annie and Mr. Wilson are always busy so she demands “family night”. That means that Dixon can’t go to Navid’s to watch the unreleased Bond flick and Annie can’t go on a date with Ty. And of course teens in Bev Hills can’t do fam time on a Friday night so Dixon invites Silver and Annie invites Ty. Ethan shows up at the bowling alley too and totally bonds with Annie. She even has a moment where she gets that look on her face like “Ty who?” well that is until Ty shows up. Then Ty's shoots Ethan an over-the-shoulder “I know the game you’re playing” look. Meow!

The TV Press world received an email from CW yesterday stating that they were not going to share an advance review copy of 90210.

"The CW and our studio partner CBS Paramount Network Television have made the strategic marketing decision not to screen "90210" for any media in advance of its premiere. We're not hiding anything . . . simply keeping a lid on 90210 until 9.02, riding the curiosity and anticipation into premiere night, and letting all our constituents see it at the same time."

CW's Upfront 08-09 Announcements. Reaper Returns!

The CW Network announced a fall launch date of September 1 and unveiled the schedule for its 2008-2009 season today at a presentation and party for advertisers, affiliates and national media in the Tent at Lincoln Center. The announcement was made by Dawn Ostroff, President of Entertainment, The CW.

“With shows that everyone is talking about, from `Gossip Girl' and `America's Next Top Model' to our upcoming `90210,' our new lineup has the best Monday-Friday schedule flow we have ever had at The CW,” said Ostroff. “We are zeroed in on our target demo of young women 18-34 with both new and returning series, and each programming block provides a strong promotional platform for the following night. We're confident that the quality of our shows for the fall season will make The CW the destination for young women.”
