Adrianna (AKA the next Amy Winehouse) was saved, miraculously. After getting her stomach pumped she admitted that she was the owner of the drugs not Naomi so Harry doesn’t expel Naomi. Instead she gets a semester of detention while Adrianna goes to rehab. And Naomi finds a hottie named Ozzy in detention.
Ethan and Annie are doing this annoying little date-without-dating thing. Ethan won’t take Annie to homecoming but he does want to “hang” with her while there. Annie gets her driver’s permit.
Silver is anti-dance (but we know from the promos she shows up anyway). But I digress… so Silver decides to get her wisdom teeth pulled instead of going to the dance and Dixon decides to ditch the dance in order to help her. Annie calls to check on Silver and tells her Dixon really wanted to go to the dance. So Silver rallies and takes Dixon to the dance, pain meds and all!
In a weird moment of bonding, Naomi invites Annie to hang out with her and the girls. They actually have a nice moment where they share stories about growing up and Naomi proclaims that she’s over Ethan and just wants him to be happy. Then Navid shows up and tries to get her to go see Adrianna. See, Naomi won’t go see Adrianna in rehab but Navid does – the dude is MIA a bunch of episodes and now he’s some crushing white night for Adrianna…. Umm okay. That’s out of left field but whatever.
Naomi’s proclamation that she just wants to see Ethan happy and her friendship with Annie both come to a crashing halt when she sees Annie and Ethan dancing. So Naomi decides the best revenge is living well and dances with the hottie from detention. Meanwhile nobody seems to realize it’s a fast song because everyone is dancing slowly.
Adrianna shows up just as Naomi tries to confront Annie about Ethan. Naomi tells Ad, that she can’t be friends with someone she always has to save who won’t try and save themselves. When Annie goes to console Naomi, Naomi announces she won’t be friends with Annie if she dates Ethan. She pulls the whole “boyfriends come and go but friends are forever” crap. Annie brings up the obvious – Hey Naomi, what about Adriana?!
After being shunned by her best friend Adrianna tries to buy blow but Navid stops her and tells her he’s been in love with her since middle school. Naomi takes Annie’s advice and re-friends Adrianna. Annie tries to take Naomi’s advice and pic Hoes over Bros but ends up making out with Ethan.
Kimberley the new skank takes a break from hitting on Ryan long enough to buy some drugs. Surprise! She’s an undercover cop. Am I the only one that figured that out already? So when Mr. Abercrombie-n-Fitch model teacher finds out the “student” isn’t jailbait he makes out with her.
Meanwhile over in adult-land, Debbie threatens to knock Tracy (Naomi’s mom) teeth out if she touches her husband again. Then she tells Harry they need to tell Dixon and Annie about their half brother.
We end on Annie and Ethan making out in the parking lot.
This week’s episode gets a C. I like the Annie Ethan pairing and Naomi growing a heart but I wish Adrianna had OD’d and there wasn’t enough Dixon-Silver.
