This is one of the most buzzed about series of the fall and the first couple seconds will take you right back to the original. Also, CW just cast Rob Estes as the dad.

I'll probably check out the pilot, but I don't understand why they made this a 90210 spinoff. It doesn't seem to connect to anything besides the setting.
