Jeremy Kent is innocent. That’s how he tells it, anyway. He goes before a court to say that nearly twenty years before he was convicted of a murder he didn’t commit, almost entirely because of the testimony of his cellmate who was instructed to do so by their mutual lawyer. The court agrees that he never got a fair trial, and therefore they’re giving him his chance now.

Ahh, nothing like a good nerdcon. This doesn’t bring back memories for me at all. And who is better to represent this episode than CSI’s dorkiest labtech, Hodges! He’s at a convention for Astro Quest, a strangely familiar looking sci-fi show. And who should he meet there but Wendy! It seems that she too is a Quester. They share a few tender dork moments before a shriek interrupts their flirting. An exhibitor is dead, and it doesn’t seem likely that aliens had anything to do with it.

It seems that Jacob is quite impressive. Impressive enough to be at FBI Deputy Director Ray Wynne’s house, in a tux, getting ready to go out and give a speech. Or he was going to give a speech, until shots are fired from the upper floor of Wynne’s house, where his wife is. Holding her hostage is Sophia Lyons, a lab tech who used to work for Wynne until she was put in a state mental institution. She claims that Wynne stole her baby, that she was having an affair with him, got pregnant, and then he took the baby to hush her up, claiming that she actually lost it and it was the child of an ex-boyfriend who left her suddenly. Rachel manages to subdue Sophia before anyone gets hurt, and they send her back to the state institution. Not before she shows Jacob an implant that she supposedly pulled out of her arm that day.

It’s a rough day at Lucha Libre, and not just for the fighters. A young woman is weaving drunkenly through the crowds at the side of the ring, and she doesn’t look very happy about being intoxicated. In fact, she looks just a bit nervous. She stumbles out of the arena and onto the street, trying to hail a cab or an ambulance, but no one stops for her. She’s on her own… or is she? It seems that a masked luchador is in pursuit, and it isn’t too long before he catches up to her and kills her.

This week's CSI opens with what looks like the showdown of the episode, rather than the dead bodies. The team is patrolling through what looks like a derelict old restaurant kitchen, looking for someone. Someone finds them, however, and Greg is taken hostage. Luckily it's a training exercise and Greg is a-ok.

Manhattan - The red carpet is in full swing, with plenty of drooling photographers and other weirdos. One photographer seems into one of the models, Hailey Vaughn, for more than just her looks - her scent seems to send him into a frenzy. He starts to attack her when her agent, Robert Beltram, steps in to protect her. The photographer stabs him in the neck for his troubles. Meanwhile, on the catwalk, a bouncer seems to smell the same alluring odor and hops up onto the catwalk to attack one of the models. He snaps her spine and kills her.

Milwaukee, WI. Some idiot is driving like a maniac and the cops and news are tailing him pretty closely. That is, until he stops rather abruptly when he slams into another car. The reporter in the helicopter is having issues with the reporting due to the fact that he suddenly can't see. His chopper goes spiraling out of control and he crashes just after the feed to TV is cut.

Wait, did I miss something? Sudden blindness? Am I watching House?

It's court day for Ray, and as he sits up front, telling the tale of Congressman Edward Griffin's supposed murder of Amber Jones, a stripper involved with the congressman, a shot is fired outside the courtroom. When Catherine and Ray head out to see what the commotion is, they find that a man has shot himself in the head just outside the door. This man was the congressman's chief of staff, Dominic Humphries, and he shot himself with the same type of gun used in Griffin's supposed crime.

The plot thickens!

Looking for a drive-thru for a midnight snack? Better steer clear of Choozy’s Chicken, because they’re obviously not open past nightfall. The only people left at the restaurant seem to be a worker closing up the till and a bunch of hoodlums in ski masks hell-bent on driving the chicken statue through the front window. Not the best late-night clientele.

Monticello Hills Country Club in La Jolla looks like heaven on earth for "real" housewives and golfers. At least until a car crashes into heaven, or more specifically heaven's pool.

The housewives are in a flutter as a women swims from the car in the pool, crying for someone to save her husband. A scantily-clad cabana boy dive to his rescue, but it's too late for Lowell.

As a Washingtonian, the first scene of Eleventh Hour this week seems oddly familiar. A terrible downpour leaves a father and son with no choice but to head for the hills. And so Daniel Harris and his son Nick flee, and as they drive to safety we learn of young Nicky’s cancer. A cancer that’s not to last much longer, as when they park they discover a magic spring, and upon drinking from it, Nicky’s cancer is gone.

Another quiet, happy day in NCISland, complete with witty banter and Gibbs entering like a raincloud to tell the crew about the next naval officer's death. This time it's petty officer Kevin Lim, stabbed to death in the middle of the street. A friend says she's sure it was Cheryl, his until-recently fiancé. An eye-witness says that there was a woman who ran by with bloody hands. Ziva, Gibbs, and McGee track her down and leave Ducky and Jimmy with the body.

There are no cheerleaders in the navy, right? That’s why the “murder” at the beginning of this episode looks a little misleading. Instead of a violent crime, what we’re actually witnessing is the filming of a low-budget slasher film, a film that becomes a little too real when the actress playing the cheerleader falls into a half buried tomb and meets her newest coworker – a skeleton with multiple stab wounds, no middle fingers, and a naval uniform.

Spring break, whoohoo! Even in winter Dayton Beach, FL is hopping. Life is one endless pool party for college students on break. Until a couple of them have to leave the party early. Lenny and his friend Greg collapse almost simultaneously, and an ambulance runs them to the hospital. However, Lenny and Greg don’t make it to the hospital. Sometimes life and death intersect. When paramedics respond to neighbor's complaints of gunshots, they find a mother and daughter, Janelle & Nora Rowe, shot after coming home with takeout. Nora, the daughter, is still alive, and the paramedics trash the crime scene to save the girl. Unfortunate for the CSIs, but sometimes they owe the living more than the dead.
