  1. The chair in Topher’s lab lights up whenever the lights are flashing, hands and braces holding back someone struggling against the restraints until finally blood splashes up against the tinted window. Echo and November watch this as it happens and when the blood splashes against the window they speculate on who is getting in trouble for doing a bad thing.

A security breach is discovered by Topher when he finds a chip inside the chair which isn’t supposed to be there. Topher dreads telling Dominic about it, since Dominic already thinks that Topher causes more problems then he fixes. Besides that Topher is convinced that he knows who is responsible for the leak, he thinks that Boyd has something to do with it and he informs him that he is about to make that call to Dominic. Boyd tells him that he has no idea what he is talking about and that he didn’t put the chip there so there is no need for him to run.

Mellie returns home, before she can even open the door to her apartment Paul pulls his door open and holds her at gun point. He lowers the gun when he sees who was making the noise in the hallway. Now that he is no longer working for the FBI he has become even more obsessed with the ‘Dollhouse’. His previous obsession to find the truth was nothing compared to how he is doing right now. One wall of his apartment is completely covered with graphs, pictures and area maps of LA.

When Mellie is kissing Paul she suddenly becomes almost catatonic and after a few seconds she ‘awakes’. Telling Paul that she has a message from the dollhouse. At first he thinks that she is making fun of his obsession but she is dead serious. She tells him that they are sorry that they have to use this body to contact him and that they have been compromised. They tell him that they will find a way to contact him. But that he shouldn’t tell Mellie anything about what happens or what he finds out about the ‘Dollhouse’ because everything he tells her will be known by the dollhouse when she is debriefed.

Everybody has needs, even Adelle apparently. I thought that the last episode was called ‘needs’ but it is nice to see that even ice queen Adelle DeWitt needs to relax and wind down that tense exterior of her every once in a while. And apparently her needs include Victor …

Since Adelle is away for the weekend Dominic is charge of the Dollhouse, since he heard from Topher about the chip he has closed the dollhouse down. Sierra is send on a mission to retrieve a file from the NSA ( National Security Agency ). Echo on her turn goes to Topher gives him the idea to imprint her as a spy finder. He takes the initiative and when he is finished with the imprint they go to Adelle’s office to tell Dominic that she has a list of people she wants to interview. Sierra returns with the file which says that Ivy is the spy but when she is brought to Echo and Dominic for another interrogation Echo finds out that it is not her who is the spy but Dominic. He confirms her suspicions when he attacks her.

Echo hand delivers Dominic to Adelle, Adelle is not even amused. She says that she trusted him, and that the Dollhouse helps people. Adelle says that she finds it funny that he of all people says that the Dollhouse hurts people especially when he points towards Echo as a victim. Particularly since he tried to kill her twice and tried to get rid of him multiple times. Adelle tells Echo to prep Dominic for a treatment and to send him to the attic and if the NSA asks about him he will tell them that everything is alright and put him back in his box afterwards.

We see that a couple of handlers, Topher, Ivy and Adelle who struggle with Dominic to get him seated in the chair to give him the treatment. They finally manage to get him into the chair but not before he somehow manages to shoot Adelle. It is in fact her blood that splashed against the window.

Adelle asks Topher if it was his idea to use Echo and imprint her as a spy finder. He tells her the truth, that it was Echo who came to him with the idea. He tells her that even though Echo has been whipped she is still developing skills which she shouldn’t have. He asks Adelle if she wants him to erase her again, but Adelle tells him to leave it. After all Echo saved the Dollhouse.

This episode was different than the others in the sense that this time we see and event, then we go back in time and see the same events happening from different points of views. For this episode it worked well, I think that if they had done in any different way that it would have been confusing and difficult to show everything they wanted to show us.

I love this show, I can’t put it any other way. With each episode that airs I see the characters growing, I see more bits and pieces that I like each time. But on the other hand since this show is about people that have no personality I think that it is more difficult for other people to see through that. I think that someone who has just seen one episode can’t really have an opinion about this show, I know that there are a lot of negative
