This time Echo is Taffy, the ringleader and safe cracker of a gang of art thieves hired by an outside contractor to steal a piece of the Parthenon. But in the middle of the heist she is wiped remotely and returns to her ‘unimprinted’ self. And with that, any chance of her cracking the safe and escaping the vault is lost. 1. Since the team counted on her as the leader, no one else can get them out of the vault.

Before the wipe, the gang blows up a wall from a hotel into a high security building's vault with antiquities and paintings during the "gray hour..." sixty minutes in which the security of the building is completely down while the system gets updated. Due to security reasons not even the security guards are allowed on the floors where the vault is.

One of the four team members (The Professor) refuses to split the pay with the other three and double crosses them. As he escapes, he wounds the tech guy and locks them in the vault before they can stop him. Taffy takes control of the situation and calls up Boyd to catch the double crosser. Boyd catches the double crosser, but during the phone conversation with Taffy, something goes terribly wrong and Taffy reverts to Echo.

Topher discovers that during the phone conversation, there was a strange sound at the exact same frequency that he uses when he erases the ‘actives’ memories. Echo has been wiped remotely. Adelle wants him to restore the memories so Echo can save the mission.

The problem is they can’t fix it. Adelle does the one thing she can think of to save the mission. She tells Topher to give Sierra the Taffy imprint and hope that she can guide Echo through the rest of the mission and extract the team. Sierra (who is now Taffy) is not happy when she hears that another girl is doing her job. But when she sees the money she agrees to help Adelle.

I liked the interaction between Echo and Taffy who gave the instructions to Echo over the phone. Too bad Echo sets of the alarm. The police will be there in seven minutes, however the security guards inside the building won’t take that long.

Dominic (once again) tells Adelle that they might have to terminate Echo, because she is a risk for their project. Adelle (as we have seen before) doesn´t agree with him. She believes in Echo, but also is starting to realize that Echo is always the one getting into trouble.

Back in the vault, the team gets ready for a shoot-out with the security guards. The jerky guy gets shot, but the tech guy and Echo make it out safely, though the tech guy is wounded. The double crosser is handed over to the client.

Topher gives Echo her treatment and looks for any permanent damage due to the remote erase. He believes her memories are fully erased and that she has no idea what happened in the vault. Adelle tells Topher that his security level is upped so that she can tell him about Alpha, whom they think is the one who did the remote wipe, and he in turn can explain to her how Alpha managed to erase Echo´s memory.

Seeing Dominic’s determination to get Echo sent to the attic makes me wonder how long it will take till he crosses the line. On the other hand it also makes me wonder how long Adelle will believe in Echo’s abilities.
