Tonight’s “Dancing with the Stars” elimination was full of surprises. We had a wonderful performance by Hall & Oates, who did “Maneater,” which is just classic. It made me happy.
Our saved stars were announced. In a surprising move, Steve Wozniak (who scored a ten out of thirty last night) was among them. I don’t think anyone was expecting that, including the visibly shocked Steve and Edyta, his partner.

So who was on the bottom dancing for their lives? None other than the two stars who could be considered maneaters: Denise Richards and Holly Madison. Never was a performance more foreshadowing.
Holly went first, and performed her Samba over again after another day of intense practicing. The judges were impressed and said she improved, giving her a combined score of 18, one more than she got last night. I thought you could see some improvement, but it was very similar to last night.
Denise performed next after footage of her practicing and footage after last night’s performance where she correctly put herself in the bottom. The audience loved it, and the judges said she made leaps and bounds under the pressure. They awarded her a total score of 20, four more than she earned last night.
And even though she did a lot better tonight than she did last night, it wasn’t enough to save Denise Richards as she became the second casualty of Dancing with the Stars. If only she did as well last night as she did tonight maybe she wouldn’t have gone home. But alas, here we are.
What did you think? Did Denise deserve to go home, or would you rather Holly got the boot? Were you as surprised as everyone else that Steve wasn’t in the bottom?
I was waiting for Holly's top to fall off & ended up missing most of her footwork ~ could they have used a BIT more material up top?!?
ReplyDeleteWhy did Denise Richards look like a 50 year old tramp? Her makeup was ridiculously heavy - even for the girls on this show - who did that to her?
I don't know. Maybe she was the last one to have a costume made and they ran our of fabric before they could completely cover her. Like, I know she's been in Playboy a million times, and she's *ahem* rather known for her assets, but still. Cover the girl up. Maybe her dancing would improve because she wouldn't be worried her top was going to fall off.
ReplyDeleteThe same people who don't know how to cover Holly up? lol. It's a shame she left. She did so much better last night than she did originally, and it didn't even help her.
It's a sad day when she scores WAY higher than Steve W & he's still around to practice today. Either she's WILDLY unpopular ~ or everyone else is afraid of the IPod revenge too!
