Seriously… have any of these contestants watched the show? Ever? I get so mad at these people sometimes because of their sheer stupidity. I have a low tolerance for it. Does a clue that says “Follow the marked path to the taxis” or “Tell your taxi to wait for you” mean anything? Tonight I found myself shouting to the heavens, “Please let this be a triple- or even quadruple-elimination!”

The Top 10 Things I Learned About the Teams on The Amazing Race

    1. Ken and Tina [Separated]: I’m not sure I could be more annoyed by this couple. She has an unfounded sense of entitlement and he is constantly trying to make up for cheating on her. Unfortunately for me, the were first to the pit stop and will be around for a while.
    2. Mark and Bill [Best Friends]: I have a special place in my heart for overweight guys who not only quote Yoda, but do it in a Yoda voice. The only team to take the computer-centric detour leg, they landed at the mat second.
    3. Terence and Sarah [Newly Dating]: Talk about issues. The start the episode fighting about how to treat other teams, and that was before the leg even began! Then there was the trunk run-in that had Terence asking Sarah to blow on his “owie.” And did I mention how he wanted to stop for ice cream? Against all odds (and my personal bet), the made it to the pit stop 3rd.
    4. Aja and Ty [Long Distance Dating]: I guess if a team finishes in the middle of the pack and aren’t a constant ball of drama, they don’t get a lot of airtime. I think that is what happened to Aja and Ty… a whole lot of nothing.
    5. Toni and Dallas [Mother and Son]: The only team to stop and help another this leg, they showed real class and finished 5th.
    6. Nick and Starr [Siblings]: On the flip side, the winner of the “No-Class” award goes to Nick who made more alliances than an entire season of Survivor, only to turn around and break said alliances 30 second later. He’s apparently not afraid to play dirty. Therefore I am not afraid to hate him.
    7. Kelly and Christy [Divorcees]: Read. The. Instructions. That is all I can bring myself to write about these two very stupid girls.
    8. Andrew and Dan [Fraternity Brothers]: Can anyone say “Seth Rogan?” They are going to need to step it up to avoid elimination. Boys are slow.
    9. Marisa and Brooke [Southern Belles]: These belles are not making a good name for Southern girls. They, too, are misreading instructions and being “ugly Americans.” The just missed elimination this episode by getting to the mat 9th.
    10. Anthony and Stephanie [Dating]: A couple in it purely for the money (they need a million dollars, apparently, to take their relationship to the next level and get married) will go home with nothing. And I am totally OK with that.
