I really think that Skynet should work on the quality of their manufacturing. A simple little bomb and Cameron's chip starts malfunctioning. Maybe there was a recall on her model and no one told John? Either way, recall is certainly the problem in this episode, as Cameron malfunctions and loses her memory of the present, but reacquires some dangerous memories from the future.

While grocery shopping, Cameron starts reliving the future—only in this future, she's a captive of the terminators. When a terminator in the future gives her a resistance tattoo and demands to know her name, Cameron tells him that it's Allison Young.

Back in our present, Cameron now thinks that her name is Allison. She's also in jail, because the cops have arrested her for taking out a pile of watermelons in a grocery story. She makes a new friend, Jody (Leah Pipes), who is sharing the same cell. The police let Cameron go, and when Jody spots Cameron's wad of money, Jody suggests that Cameron come with her.

Jody and Cameron end up at a halfway house. To stay the night, Cameron needs to meet with a counsellor. While talking to the counsellor, she starts flashing back to an interrogation from the future where we learn that Allison's father was an architect, her mother was a music teacher, and that Allison's from Palmdale. The counsellor calls Cameron's “mom” who is very confused, because she doesn't have a daughter—but she is pregnant.

John finally tracks Cameron down at the halfway house. He tells her that she's really a machine—it doesn't go well. Cameron throws him against a wall, and John is escorted out. We see future Allison trying to escape the camp. She fails, but we find out that her interrogator is...well...Cameron. Yep. We're in a terminator training camp.

Allison is actually one of John Connor's soldiers. Cameron tries to convince Allison that some of the machines want peace. In the present, Cameron confesses to the counsellor that she thinks she's a machine--an infiltrator sent to kill John Connor. The counsellor wigs out and calls the cops.

Jody and Cameron leave the halfway house with John following. They break in to a place where Jody claims she used to baby-sit, but it is actually her old home.

In the future, Cameron is angry with Allison. While Allison has told Cameron how to get to the resistance camp, Cameron realizes that Allison lied about her bracelet. The bracelet is really a pass to get into the camp. Cameron breaks Alison's neck.

In the present, Jody's lying is coming back to haunt her. Cameron is one paranoid little terminator. She starts to strangle Jody while flashing back to killing Allison. John comes in to find Jody on the floor. Cameron tells John that they need to go. Jody is still alive, but how long will John be? It seems that the old Cameron is gone--replaced by the original infiltration model.

Meanwhile, Sarah bonds with her neighbor, Kacy (Busy Phillips). When Kacy starts bleeding and cramping, Sarah takes her to the hospital where they discuss how scary it is to have kids. What's even more frightening for our fugitive is that the father of Kacy's child, Trevor (Jon Huertas), is a detective.

Ellison and Catherine discuss her job offer. Ellison is still undecided, but wants to stop the evil robots. Catherine suggests that he not anthropomorphize the machines—okay, evil urinal robot. Ellison asks his ex-wife, Lila (Fay Wolf), to run a check on Catherine Weaver. It comes up clean, so Ellison takes the job.

This was quite a good episode. Much better than last week's. I liked learning more about how Cameron and John met, and I like that we're uncertain which side Cameron is now on. Also, props to Summer Glau who was amazing in this episode as Allison/Cameron. The bad? The Sarah/Kacy subplot was boring and the Catherine Weaver story line is moving really slowly.

It's your turn. What did you think? Which side is Cameron on? Is the Catherine Weaver story line leading anywhere? Leave your TwoCents below.
