Hello again everybody! I hope you all can enjoy the end of your summer the way you should enjoy it. I know that I personally have a few day-trips planned with friends, and babysitting to save money for the trips in the future . But anyways, with summer coming to an end, it reminds me of last summer, around this time, when I moved up to school, and the summer before, when I did the same. This year, I’m going to school locally, but my sister moves away in two weeks. Because of these events that I’m reminded of, or that are coming up, I’ve decided to review “The Lorelas’ First Day at Yale” so I can discuss Rory’s experience moving away from home.

Hello again everybody! I hope you all can enjoy the end of your summer the way you should enjoy it. But anyways, with summer coming to an end, it reminds me of last summer, around this time, when I moved up to school, and the summer before, when I did the same. This year, I’m going to school locally, but my sister moves away in two weeks. • Lorelai clearly is having trouble leaving Rory.
    • They borrow Luke’s truck to move into the dorm.
    • Rory is the first to arrive in her room, but is so consumed with getting everything right that she’s missed her big entrance, which Lorelai makes her repeat.
    • She takes her school photo, and chats with a few people on her floor. Then, when she arrives back to her room, Tana is there. She’s quiet and very nervous. She’s only 16 years old, but she seems nice.
    • Lorelai has taken the Yale mattress and replaced it with a new one, so when she goes back to Stars Hollow for the first time, she tries to convince Luke to store it. He won’t; and it adds a whole lot of humor.
    • Lorelai heads back to Yale with more things for Rory and finds out something shocking that Rory had just found out. Rory’s other roommate is PARIS.
    • Paris is seeing a life-coach who is helping her become a better person, and part of that is to finish her journey with Rory and Lorelai.
    • Once Lorelai gets home again, she receives a text from Rory telling her to come back. This causes Lorelai to drive back to Yale for the 3rd time. And this time, she spends the night. They order lots of food to rate the cuteness of the delivery boys and invite all the girls from the floor over to their dorm room. It soon becomes the perfect first night at Yale.
    • Lorelai finally leaves the next morning, and Rory seems to be okay now.
    • The episode ends with Lorelai entering her house, alone, looking very lonely, but also symbolizing the new beginning.

So, that’s the end of another early episode review. Please join me next week when I review “Say Something,” an episode from the 5th season. I would also love your feedback on which episode you want me to review, because I have some favorites, but I would love to review your favorites as well. E-mail me anytime at Faye@thetwocentscorp.com. Let me know what you think. Put your TwoCents in the comments!
