"Hell's Kitchen" Recap & Review - "Day 14 Part 2"

It all came down to the final two chefs: Christina and Petrozza. Would Christina win yet another challenge and obviously the most important challenge or would Hen in a Pumpkin rise up, defy all odds and win the whole thing? I’ll get to that in a little bit. Petrozza chooses Jen as his final choice for his team and Christina gets Matt. Miss Attitude or Captain Crazyface. That’s a rough choice.

It all came down to the final two chefs: Christina and Petrozza. Would Christina win yet another challenge and obviously the most important challenge or would Hen in a Pumpkin rise up, defy all odds and win the whole thing? I’ll get to that in a little bit. Petrozza chooses a really ambitious menu and Christina sticks to more simple and normal dishes. Gordon says that if Petrozza can pull those dishes off, he could win. Petrozza has a major problem when he runs out of ingredients for not one but two of his appetizers. That’s his moment. Gordon says he has to come up with something or he’ll shut him down. Petrozza freezes and turns to Bobby to come up with something. He does but ouch, that was your job, Petrozza. In Christina’s camp, entrees come back to the kitchen a few times, which is not good for the final challenge. Matt is a loose canon and is mostly useless.

Gordon congratulates them both and tells them they did an extraordinary job in their final service. But there can be only one. So, Christina and Petrozza put their hands on the door handles and FOX draws it out as long as is possible. They turn the handles and Christina’s opens. Gordon and Petrozza have a nice moment while celebration city goes on for Christina in Hell’s Kitchen. Gordon says Christina had more potential in the long run. I guess but I would have liked to see Hen in a Pumpkin win. He came so far! He served Gordon a HEN in a PUMPKIN and then made it to the final two! No one grew as much as he did.

So there you have it! Season four of Hell’s Kitchen is in the bag. What did you think? Best season to date? Should Christina have won? Is Matt certifiable? Leave your TwoCents in the comments!
