A lot of stuff happened in this episode, so be prepared! It seems that full reconciliation between Meredith and Derek is well underway. Their clinical trial continues, and this time they have a new patient – Greta - that may or may not be hallucinating her romantic lover. Greta is putting off the procedure until her boyfriend, Andre arrives. With her is her sister, who tells Meredith and Derek that Andre is not real (this could very well be true – the tumor causes one to hallucinate).

Meredith, acting out because of her therapy sessions (they haven’t been going so well) is attempting to convince the patient that it’s all fake, meanwhile, Derek is more than willing to let the woman live out her fantasy as long as possible. He’s the romantic that will never give up, while Meredith is more than happy to let go. It should be noted; that in the last episode, him and Rose finally had sex, and well, he’s been avoiding her ever since – he admitted to McSteamy that the whole time all that he was thinking about was Meredith.

Things are full speed ahead with Rebecca/Ava/Jane Doe and Alex. He makes her breakfast, she throws it up (“morning sickness”), he’s being so sweet and lovely and caring, and well, I love this side of Alex. But it’s sort of troubling to be watching this – after all, Rebecca isn’t pregnant. In fact, she has something else. Rebecca arrives at the hospital, looking for Mark, she needs to see him immediately. But it is there that she runs into Izzie, and she’s confronted with the fact that she’s not pregnant. Rebecca doesn’t believe her, and tells her to do the test again – she knows she’s pregnant.
Rebecca goes to have a consultation with Mark, revealing that she wants a boob job – but Mark tells her that’s not really recommended if she’s pregnant, but she doesn’t care, her body doesn’t match her face – she needs to be desirable. Mark recommends a psychiatric consultation. She’s probably suffering from a hallucination brought on by acute stress disorder – from the ferry crash. Alex ends up finding out that the pregnancy is fake, but instead of kicking Rebecca out of his life, he stays with her, and takes care of her, as she deals with her “miscarriage.”

Meanwhile, I’m falling in love with George again. He’s being great and gung-ho running errands and doing tests for the chief, and being a great uncle – to his namesake – little Tucker George. You see, Bailey is going through issues with her dissolving marriage, so while her and her husband hash things out – George is being the chief’s intern, and taking care of little Tuck – keeping him sheltered from his parent’s arguments. George needs to have tons of little children immediately. Oh, did I mention that while he’s doing all this, he’s also giving the chief some love advice? Richard is freaking out a bit, because Adele hasn’t called him back since they had sex. But with George’s help, Adele is more than willing to flirt back with the Chief – he’s a high roller now.

Callie is ready and willing to keep having sex with Mark. But he’s not up for it, if she wants his body, she needs to want his mind as well. Callie has only one thing to say – eww. Besides, she knows he doesn’t mean it, all he’s been thinking about is having a threesome with her and Erica Hahn. But, Hahn doesn’t think that Mark can handle the two of them. While in the elevator, she reaches over and full on kisses Callie. Needless to say both Mark and Callie are stunned.

As the episode wraps up, Meredith and Cristina make some big strides in their own lives. Cristina receives a wake-up call in the form of Lexie Grey, telling her to stop moping and being miserable. Meredith confronts the idea that she just might be suicidal, but she’s not a quitter, and she tells her therapist straight up – she wants to be fixed

In case you were wondering what happened, the clinical trial did not go well, and Andre finally arrived – he was real. Derek leaves the hospital with Rose; he needs something for right now.

Lots of stuff is being set up for the two hour season finale. But I have to say, I can pretty much tell where everything is going, except for Alex. I’m so intrigued right now about where he is heading. Even though he knows now that the pregnancy was never real to being with, he still is sticking by Rebecca, taking care of her, almost as if she was his own child. Meanwhile Izzie is looking on at this the entire time. ARGH!! I honestly think this storyline is the best thing to happen to this show in a long time.

Well, those are my two cents . . . any questions, comments, concerns?
