This episode is the one that leads to the season finale, and WOW, what an episode it was! Some of the acting in this episode was a tad awkward, but if you set that aside, it is one of my favorite of the entire season. I’m going to write about the main events in each girl’s storyline again, so enjoy, and I hope you like it!

Susan: I never noticed how much her smile could light up the set. When Mike’s mama arrived, her smile was so huge that there was just this sense of calm that came over me. Aside from that, Mike’s mama was HILARIOUS! I loved when she referred to the Civil War as “The War of Northern Aggression.” As a history major, that to me was a wonderful reference. Susan soon becomes unhappy with her mother in law’s presence, so she fakes her labor to rid of her. Soon after her fake labor, she goes into real labor and the episode ends with her holding her newborn baby boy.
Lynette: Her situation with Kayla is HORRIBLE. Kayla is a little brat, and she annoys me to no end. If I were Lynette, I would also have trouble falling in love with my husband’s love child, but like Lynette, I would treat her the same way I would treat the rest of my kids. And if Kayla had threatened to hurt my baby, I would have slapped her too. Kayla crossed a line with that threat, and then again when she reported Lynette for abuse-which makes for a wonderful storyline, but a horrible situation.
Gabby: When she found the cocaine, and told Carlos about it, I laughed so hard at the dynamic between the two of them. The best twist with her story this episode was when she found out that the police were already looking closely at Ellie and that they are willing to life Carlos’ parole if they help. To me, that spells trouble! Gabby also seemed very happy when Ellie considered her like a mother. That was cute in my opinion.
Bree: I loved that the episode opened with her fight in the street with Edie. The fact that she was able to gather up enough strength to hit her was great! To truly get into the rest of her story line, I’m going to leave her, and go to Edie.
Edie: Edie finding out that Benjamin isn’t Bree and Orson’s son was such a shocking scene, and then when she decided to use that information to blackmail Bree, I got very excited. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a fan of blackmail, but that’s what Desperate Housewives was founded on. It was because of the blackmail that caused Bree to come out to her friends with the truth. I wish that we could have seen that dialogue, but the fact that it’s out there, will make things much easier for her. Now, I’m a huge Edie fan. I think that she adds so much to the show. I actually love her character with every bone in my body, and the girls now refusing to talk with her makes sense, but sucks. There’s no other way to put it. Now, she’s leaving to spend time with Travers, and all I want to shout is “DON’T GO!”
So, that was this week’s episode. Next week is the 2-hour finale! What did you think of this episode? Put your TwoCents in the comments! I’ll see you all next week.
