Survivor: Micronesia, Fans vs. Favorites

The Top 11 Things I Learned About the Castaways of Survivor: Micronesia

1. Alexis [Airai] was sent to Exile Island thanks to a little twist in the game: each tribe had to pick someone to go to E.I. before the Immunity Challenge and that person would get immunity.
2. Amanda [Malakal] thought it would be better to be with the devil you know (Ami) than the devil you don’t know (Erik) when approached vote out Ami. She changed her mind.
3. Ami [Malakal] went home. Crying. Too bad the other tribe members didn’t believe her story that she was just trying to give the doomed fans some hope and alleviate their stress by plotting to vote out Ozzy in previous Tribal Councils (see number 6 below). Yeah, I didn’t believe her either.
4. Cirie [Malakal] realized that, at this point in the game, her vote needs to go to whomever she trusts the least, because she sure as hell doesn’t trust anyone anyway.
5. Eliza [Airai] actually helped win an Immunity Challenge. I was so surprised!

    4. Cirie [Malakal] realized that, at this point in the game, her vote needs to go to whomever she trusts the least, because she sure as hell doesn’t trust anyone anyway.
    5. Eliza [Airai] actually helped win an Immunity Challenge. I was so surprised!
    6. Erik [Malakal] was on the chopping block so he called out Ami and told of her exploits in plotting with the other fans for the past several Tribal Councils. It was a desperate move that really paid off.
    7. James [Airai] once again wins my vote for best quote of the evening: when complaining about the condition of the Airai camp he said “You could live over there at Malakal. Over here…this is where they bring the criminals.” Then he nonchalantly popped the cap off a beer bottle with his teeth. Nice.
    8. Jason [Airai] wins MVP of the Immunity Challenge, but he is getting a bit too big for his britches. AND he still thinks he has the Immunity Idol (he just has a stick Ozzy carved a smiley-face into).
    9. Natalie [Airai] was approached by Parvati about a possible Final Four with Alexis and Amanda. Interesting…
    10. Ozzy [Malakal] got sent to Exile Island with Alexis (see number 1 above) and went on the Immunity Idol treasure hunt just to see if someone found his decoy. They did! (See number 8 above.)
    11. Parvati [Airai] is starting to set her sights on an all-female Final Four and has completely dismissed any remaining lines of Fans vs. Favorites.

Next week: “I'm in Such a Hot Pickle!”
