Stan is due home from a top secret mission so Francine is shopping for some meat from Hercules the butcher who’s very sad about his wife who died but who is also out there on the dating scene with his new roller blades. Stan comes home and things are about to get down and dirty on the living room couch when Stan’s mom (Swoosie Kurtz, Pushing Daisies) calls and ruins the moment. Stan grabs the flowers he bough home for his wife and hightails it over to visit him mother – who’s lost another new boyfriend during their third date.

Stan’s mom Betty is crying on his shoulder while Francine looks on disapprovingly. Every guy she tries to date leaves her on the third date. Stan says his mom doesn’t have to worry because she’s his number one girl – Francine, on the other hand, is “definitely woman B” in his life.

Over in the B-Story, Klaus the goldfish lets Steve overhear him trying to order a hooker from the yellow pages. He confesses to Steve that he’s desperate for some human contact and Steve picks him up and gives him a big hug.

Roger, dressed as cousin Phil (who looks a lot like cousin Oliver from the Brady Bunch) walks in on Stan and his mother bathing together and the fact that a grown man and his aged mother are bathing together is the least of the horrors that are going on in that tub.

Francine explains to Roger that when Stan’s father left the family when he was a boy his mother told him it was his fault and he’s been trying to make it up to her all these years. Roger suggests fixing Stan’s mom up with a man who won’t disappear after three dates and Francine knows just the man – Hercules from the butcher shop.

Klaus phones Steve to let him know that he has Ich. Steve discovers that he’s got Ich as well and none of his friends will hang out with him anymore. Klaus is enjoying the company though and challenges Steve to a game of Life.

Betty goes on two dates with Hercules and everything is going great. Roger discovers that the men who supposedly left Betty on the third date didn’t actually leave. They all disappeared. He thinks Betty might be a black widow – killing the men she dates.

On the third date, Roger and Francine decide to have a stakeout. They spot Hercules heading for the bathroom and they rescue him as he’s being pulled out the men’s room window. Francine runs after his attacker and discovers that it’s not Betty as she suspected but her own husband. Stan has been abducting all his mom’s dates and ditching them on a deserted island. Hercules decides to take Betty with him to the old country where it is safe. Stan and Francine both race to the airport – Stan to abduct him and Francine to rescue him.

Steve discovers a cure for Ich online and brings it home. Klaus claims he didn’t know there was a cure and that he did not infect Steve with Ich just so his friends would shun him and force him to spend more time at home hanging out with his pet goldfish. Steve gets angry and runs off, leaving Klaus crying – when Hayley comes home and Klaus gets her to pick him up and give herself Ich.

Everyone ends up on the plane where Francine stops Stan from grabbing Hercules and Hercules announces that he and Betty are getting married. Stan goes after Hercules once they announce they are getting married and Betty slaps him and tells him that he’s lucky to have a wonderful woman at home who’s put up with him and his mother all these years.

The show ends as the boat filled with the happy couples Stan and Francine and Betty and Hercules, cruises past the island of all Betty’s old boyfriends.
