OK, I’ve missed a few weeks.

Oct 23rd – “Inside Out”
Kim Brown needs bed rest due to the pregnancy but she doesn’t want to miss the first day of her on air radio call in show while Bob tries to remember how to be a father to his girls. Jonas, Mac and Hector are protecting a terrorist who has a dangerous chip inside of him. Tiffy has been fired from her job teaching went back to waitress at a seedy bar that yes, has a stripper pole.

Oct 30th – “M.P.s”
Hector and Grey are in the bar we last left with Tiffy dancing in showing a guy about the no touching rule there. Hector ends up getting set up with one of Tiffy’s fellow dancers. Jonas, Grey, and Mac are posing as MPs. They are protecting a pop star (Mikalah Gordon from American Idol) touring army bases. Bob Brown is undercover to work with a cop on prisoner transfer duty. The cop is played by Randy Couture of UFC fame. Randy gave a very nice performance – Mikalah was awful. Hector, at a motel with his new woman runs into Col Ryan with an old one – Tiffy!

    Now on to this week…

Jonas, Bob and Mac lay the smack down in some foreign land to start us off. They are rescuing a kidnapped reporter named Marc Granger. Grey is standing lookout and Hector takes point. Gun shots come from behind flushing the Unit out of hiding and Grey gets hit. We learned that Hector is a doctor two weeks ago, but Grey doesn’t look good. The escape chopper has been shot down. The team is trapped, and Grey needs help.

The team holes up inside an apartment building, frightening an Israeli family that includes a mentally challenged son. Mac clears the family’s meal off the table and Hector lays a very pale Grey on to it. Hector puts in a chest tube and the family struggles to keep their son quiet. Grey tells the guys he feels he’s dying and to leave him behind. But the boys of the Unit don’t do that.

Back on base, Tiffy is still doing her little dance on the catwalk, on the catwalk, on the catwalk yeah, on the catwalk when a pregnant Kim walks in to the bar to call Tiffy on this bad idea. Molly is there to help too. Tiffy doesn’t want her help – she’s supporting her girls and that’s all she cares about. Tiffy’s car has been towed by an overzealous customer who just happens to own a tow service. Tiffy refuses a ride from Kim and Molly and instead asks Annie (bartender and Hector’s new girlfriend) to help her. Tiffy gets to the auto yard with Annie (and Molly and Kim too) and tries her best feminine flirtations to not have to pay. The tow guy offers to take her for coffee to discuss it, she tells him to go to hell and he mentions the car is damaged just to get her to bend over. The women are about to get angry. They go back with a video from the parking lot surveillance camera. It’s a bluff, but will it work?

The walkie talkies don’t work but the reporter knows of a place with a dedicated line that the enemy soldiers don’t know about. He’ll take Jonas to find it. Mac rips up some sheets and heads to the roof to attempt to get a signal to the ride home. Lucky for the Unit, and us viewers, one of the family speaks English – even if it does make him a little ornery. Oh no, the reporter just turned his gun on Jonas, who sweet talks him out of it, even if the gun he gave the reporter didn’t have any ammo in it.

On the roof, Mac uses the bed sheets and some broken pottery to make a landing sign for the hopeful chopper extraction, while up there he noticed the militia entering the building they are hiding out in.

The tow guy locks the girls in the yard if they don’t give him the tape. He attacks Tiffy and the girls attack him. It’s like a Charlie’s Angels episode! And as Tiffy so eloquently stated – “This PTA meeting just kicked your ass.”

Jonas is back and Hector exclaims that Grey has stopped breathing. CPR is started and works beautifully. Then it’s ruined as the English speaking son runs out the door, leaving Bob no choice but to kill him as he runs. Jonas declares that they are moving NOW. Bob and Hector carry Grey out in a sheet and they are on their way. Stuck in a hallway the three of them try to hold off a whole militia. Mac arrives just as Hector runs out of ammo. They need to run 10 miles to the beach which is plan B for extraction. Time to go! RUN….wait, there’s no shooting! No need, the Marines just happen to be right outside the building. Time for everyone to go home.

Not so fast! SNIPER! Hector is hit in the neck and ….. killed.

It’s a brave show that will kill off one of its own. Wow. I was blown away by that. This is a great show that not a lot of people are watching. Watch it folks!

  3. How on earth do they eliminate hector (hummerhead) williams.it should have been gray.
I think the producers should bring him back under the guise that he had to be taken out of play due to a super covert mission.
Mack should also find out about rayan & his wife where he then proceeds to covertly take them out of play when they are together in the act.
