So Rosie O’Donnell (ok, Dawn Budge, her character) is hang gliding when she’s attacked by a Giant Wedge Tailed Eagle. Crashing to the ground, she almost dies but is rescued and airlifted. Got all that? (Damn, I loved writing it!) It’s just the setup. After that, she is anally molested by an “Ass Bandit” that is terrorizing Rodeo Drive, posing as a doctor. Each of the doctors watch their malpractice insurance take a whopping hit. After that, Dawn gets beaned by a falling light while visiting the Hearts ‘n’ Scalpels set. Waking up, she falls in love with Freddie.

How about this setup…a nun walks into a plastic surgeon’s office for a breast reduction. Funny enough? How about she explains to Christian what a higher calling feels like?

Did you forget what show this is?

On the dark side, after Dawn throws a shot at Kate, Sean finds five empty bags of M&Ms and talks her into revealing her “secret stash” in an effort to bring her compulsive eating in line. Body issues continue as Sean’s daughter Annie, prompted by Olivia’s daughter Eden, comes to Sean for liposuction. Olivia and Julia blame the plastic surgery culture more than they blame Eden, who is giving Annie purging lessons in the adjacent room.

Mistaken for a gigolo last week, Christian gets a referral for another session, which results in one of the most bizarre sexual scenarios the show has ever attempted. A near death experience isn’t exactly a thrill to watch, but once again the writers show us these twisted psyches where sex is not only disturbing, but has nothing to do with physical or emotional connections. But instead of screwing her back to life, Christian revives her though more traditional CPR, and even prays for her, after his conversations with the nun may have produced some sort of awakening. The episode ends with Christian on his knees, just not for the normal reasons.

Oddly enough, the actress is named Claudia Christian (Who played a possessed stripper in The Hidden).

Eden’s provocative games with Sean continue, physically and through text messages, leading to a conversation with two sides of himself, asking for castration.

    Quotable
“The world is a peaceful place”
Christian, as he sews Dawn’s mouth shut.

“Freddie Prune rides me like the king of the friggin’ rodeo.”
Dawn, affirming the hetero nature of her new love.

    “This was a weird day.”
Sean, in the understatement of the century.

Nip/Tuck is created for mature audiences.
The show airs Tuesday nights at 10 PM on the F/X Network.
Repeats air immediately, Friday at 11 PM and Sunday at 10 PM.
