Hannah Storm and Dave Price from CBS News' "The Early Show" will anchor THE THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE ON CBS, live from New York City, Thursday, Nov. 22 on the CBS Television Network. It will be broadcast 9:00 AM-12:00 Noon, live ET/delayed PT; 8:00 AM-11:00 AM, live CT; 7:00 AM-10:00 AM, live MT.
The special, a CBS Thanksgiving tradition celebrating its 47th year, will feature the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade live from New York City, as well as performances from Trisha Yearwood and Rascal Flatts.
Storm and Price will anchor the special from the site of the 81st annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. The beloved parade is famous for its gigantic balloons of cartoon character favorites, sensational floats and spirited marching bands from across the country. For the 10th year, an additional viewpoint of the parade will be offered from the streets of Manhattan where Neil Patrick Harris (CBS’s "How I Met Your Mother") and Maggie Rodriguez (CBS’s “The Saturday Early Show”) will report and interact with the crowd.

I just LOVED Neil Patrick Harris's comment about Cheerleader Nipples . . . Wow, what planet is that asshole from? Maybe FAMILIES watch the parade?? What a jerk.
ReplyDeleteCBS coverage of the parade sucks. Too many "interviews" and commercials and the camera angles are the worst I've ever seen for the Macy's parade.
ReplyDeleteAgreed about NPH's inappropriate comment. Other newscasters and sportscasters have lost jobs for a slip like that.
ReplyDeleteFortunately, our kids were a little too young to understand what he meant... but I am sure other families were caught off guard.
What terrible coverage....How about showing some of the PARADE...All we saw was talking heads with parade in the BACKGROUND...Why do networks think we want to spend three hours seeing talking heads most of the time and minutes of the event, hello, the PARADE. Now I know why I never watch anymore. Wanted to see the marching bands, especially the St. Pete, Fla group, but nope TALKING HEADS..Put egos away folks and show the EVENT. A three hour waste of time.
ReplyDeleteHopefully next year they will actually SHOW the parade. I could care less about all the interviews & what the hosts think or do. SHOW THE PARADE next year. I had dissapointed kids who wanted to see Hello Kitty, but all we see is Clay Akin talking. WHO CARES. WHat a waste of my time.
ReplyDeleteWatch on NBC if you want to actually see the Parade. CBS is lame.
ReplyDeleteCBS coverage of parade sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Switched to NBC now we can actually see the parade instead of a bunch of blowhards.
