  1. Greetings Tudors fans. Our Queen is pregnant and Charles must go slaughter the rebels in York en masse. How will it go down? Come see for yourself in this “Mini Recap & Review”

The king is planning- in great detail- the coronation for him and his new Queen who is pregnant. He has already picked out the name- Edward- convinced it’s a boy. Meanwhile, the ambassador to Spain is also pitching suitors for Lady Mary to the King. Soon the Queen is in labor though beforehand she seemed to suspect something would go wrong. Evidently the Queen is in labor for like hours and hours so soon the doctors break out the knives. Oh GOD this is going to be gruesome. Thankfully, the Queen finally gives birth to a healthy boy without having to get all cut open. Welcome, future King of England (well, for like seven years), Edward VI. But it seems like the Queen continues to weaken after giving birth. The King prays for her to get well- but she passes.

A young Bishop in France is trying to restart the rebellion against the King. Thus, the King dispatches Sir Francis to France to get the French King to deliver the traitor to him- or to resort to his previous skills as a spy and kill the young Bishop. Of course he has to get a booty call in (with a hot married woman) in a back room at a party before he goes. Sir Byron meets the King’s Counsel and explains they cannot turn him over (because he was granted safe passage) but that they expelled him from France.

The main rebel leader (Mr. Ask) is found guilty on all charges and sentenced to be hung in chains at York where most of his rebellion took place. The 2nd rebel leader is granted Mercy after signing a document acknowledging his sins and swearing full allegiance to the King. The rebel leader will have a chance to plead his case to Cromwell- whom he despises as a heretic- which conflicts him greatly. Mr. Ask is hung (in chains) at York Castle.

Charles rides to York to fulfill the King’s order that more rebels be killed so as to make an example despite being conflicted about the morality of the orders he must carry out.
