  1. In the first part of the last two episodes of the season, Sarah and Mason fly to L.A. to shoot her Dove commercial. Conner is acting like he’s handling his break up with Mason better than would be expected but, as my friend said, “He looks like he had a day.”

All right, I’ve got to devote a paragraph to this adorable Conner and Sarah moment. The episode starts with Conner wearing a Snuggie, which has got to be one of the weirdest “inventions” ever. Conner makes this ridiculous thing that makes him look like Cookie Monster adorable because he got Sarah one. What makes it even better is that later, in her hotel room, she answers the door wearing it.

Conner tries to deal with Mason in his own way by getting hockey tickets. He invites Mason, who bails to go to L.A. and babysit Sarah on the Dove shoot. Conner has a bit of a fit but not as big as you’d expect. When Mason leaves, he rips up the tickets.

At the shoot, Amy, still bitter about losing to Sarah, fights Sarah on every point. The out of control director wants to include shots that effectively change the spot entirely. Mason tells the director to shoot Amy’s idea and tells Sarah they’ll edit it out later. The tension between the director and Sarah grows to the point where he wants her removed or he’ll walk. Mason says things will run smoother without Sarah and Sarah says she won’t make a scene in front of the client. Right after, she knocks the drink out of his hand and says, “Oops.” Robin, the Dove exec, sees all of the fighting, which is unbelievably unprofessional.

Meanwhile, Tony and Conner have teamed up. Tony has grand plans to steal some of Cochran’s accounts and Conner is actually hesitant at first. He comes around and the two fly out to L.A. to crash a Buick shoot.

Later, Conner finds Sarah in the hotel bar, sits next to her and puts her arm around her, like it’s nothing. Conner then tells her she’d make a great mom and Mason calls them Bonnie and Clyde. Conner and Mason fight, bitterly and Sarah insists she doesn’t care. It works for her. Actually, Mason bitterness works for both of them.

The next day, at the Dove shoot, Mason loudly tells the crew the director has quit and that they don’t get paid. The director backs down. Score one for Mason. Outside, Conner can’t get in the gate to assist on the Dove shoot. He knows the director and the director doesn’t hate Conner one bit. Conner calls Mason, who he can actually see from his car and watches as Mason ignores the call.

Conner heads to the Buick spot and pitches the idea of the car in the new Frank DeMarco movie, which is like the Bourne series. The client loves it and Conner doesn’t see a problem since Tony and Frank go way back. Trouble is, Frank stole the idea for the mega-successful series from Tony and Tony’s not happy about it. Conner finds Frank in a bar and pretends he wants to write movies. They get along well and it seems like Conner is going to try to save the Buick account on his own. However, he finally goes in for the kill and says, “How would you like to make it up for screwing Tony out of his million dollar idea?” It’s such an awesome moment.

In awkward drama land, Mason goes to see Sarah in her hotel room. Yes, she’s wearing that weird Snuggie as she does it. Mason tries to explain himself and apologizes but Sarah brings up their kiss from years ago. She’s upset and points out she’s come in second twice to him.

Back at RGM, Dove exec Robin loves the finished spot, which is all Sarah’s idea. She even says she likes working with Sarah, which Mason throws in Amy’s face. Conner and Mason talk about being partners again but aren’t sure. Sarah calls them ladies. Tony informs them they’ve got Buick and tells Conner, “We’ve got work to do.” Conner replies, “Yeah, about that.”

I’m glad Conner and Mason seem to be making up a bit. I like them fighting, I do but it seems to be wrecking Conner. So, what did you think? Tell me your TwoCents in the comments!
