Ok, let’s just jump in and get started, we have a lot to cover in this episode.
We start out with Henry asking his future brother-in-law Richard, how he stands being a Wellington. Now, Richard is married to Shea, Trish’s sister. Richard says: “He gets paid (for his job) real good money and his daughter is taken care of. Henry then goes skeet shooting with Daddy Wellington and has a chance to beat Daddy W but ends up losing. 1.
The question here is did he do it purposely or not? He also receives a note that says Hunter Jennings is staying at a local hotel. Now he knows!
Over at the Medical Clinic, Kelly’s body is examined and her eyes are red. The dock says they turn red from hemorrhaging when hanging, but this is excessive! He also notes she had sex before she died and there is residue under her nails.

Abby gets a visit from her father, Sheriff Mills, and finds out that Kelly is dead. He says she killed herself but Abby doesn’t believe it because Kelly was so happy last she saw her.
Meanwhile Trish is trying on sexy undergarments for her wedding night, when good ol Stud (Hunter) comes into her dressing room. He tries to seduce her and while she is saying “no” it looks to me like she is kind of turned on by his closeness….you know what I mean. Don’t you dare do that to Henry!!

Abby then goes to JD’s room, where we notice scratch marks on his shoulders. She tells him about Kelly. He tells her how happy she was about the invite to LA but that her tattoo’s had John Wakefield all over her. Creepy!

Now here is an out of the blue situation I did not see coming….Katherine Wellington, Daddy W’s trophy wife, comes back to her room and finds a gun on the bed. Out from behind her is Richard, and he accuses her of saying “bad things” about him like he is “weak”. He makes her take off her blouse and get down on her knees and then… we realize this is just a little sex game they play. OMG, the son is doing it with Step-Mommy!
Meanwhile Henry goes to the hotel Stud is staying in and looks around. He finds out that Daddy W is footing the bill for Stud to be here. Stud comes back, but Henry gets away, unnoticed. Whew!

Remember last week when Sully left Cal hanging in the tree? Well Cal gets his revenge when Blondie takes Sully for a honey and herb spa treatment and then Cal comes in and throws feathers all over him. Very funny!

As JD is walking down a road, he gets hit by a red truck. Then we see Abby telling her father that she doesn’t think Kelly killed herself. So the Sheriff goes to see Shane and questions him about how he gave Kelly a hard time at the Cannery the day before. Shane (who has this huge chip on his shoulder the size of the Empire State Bldg.) says he feels real bad about that. But when the sheriff asks if he has seen JD lately, he just replies “we aren’t real tight”. Then Shane goes to his truck after the Sheriff leaves and we find JD bound and gagged in the bed of the truck.
Nikki (the bar maid) tells Abby that Shane and Kelly use to date. We find out he was abusive and really pissed that she broke up with him.

Hunter goes to see Daddy W, and tells him he can still get Trish. Daddy tells him the deal is off. So Stud wants 50 thousand dollars and will leave tonight or else he tells Trish everything. Meanwhile back in Trish’s room, a note is slipped under the door. It says: “Let’s make this work. Room 214. Hunter”. Don’t do it, don’t do it, don’t do it. She does it, she goes to the room. But as she puts her hand on the door knob she looks at her ring and turns around to leave. Inside, is Henry…I knew it! He sees her shadow under the door. Now the question is …from the groom’s perspective, are you happy she didn’t come in? Or pissed that she even thought to go to the room? Me, I am pissed!

Abby then goes to Shane’s place and looks around. She walks back to some shed of his and finds JD on a chair, with a noose around his neck and gagged. Abby comes up with some story (remember, she is a writer) and gets Shane to calm down and not kick the chair from under JD, he is not to blame. Just then Sheriff Mills storms in and JD is knocked off the chair but they all grab him and save him. Whew! The sheriff tells them “If someone did kill Kelly, he will make them pay.”

Later that night, Henry is going to give toast to Daddy, but first he approaches him and tells him he knows about Hunter. But here is the thing that interests me… When Henry turned around and saw Trish standing there, did you see the little flick of his upper lip? As if he is disgusted with Trish (for even thinking about going to the room, or for having to deal with a pain in the ass father-in law that is the question). Hmmmm? Just my opinion.

Ending: Hunter gets paid the $50 thousand and gets on a small boat. He speeds off into the dark, but while driving, he spots a duffle bag on the floor of the boat. He reaches over and finds it full of money and a gun lying on top. He smiles, but then the boat stalls. He reaches for the cover of the engine, and as it lifts, a rigged gun comes up and shoots him. Holy crap! Now important thing is…this is a Candlewick Inn gun and looks like the one used in the skeet shooting….just saying. Also, this bag full of money looks to be Uncle Marty’s…just saying. Victim # 6 down!
Back on the island, Sheriff M is looking through Kelly’s house for clues. Now, my question is, why doesn’t any of the crime shows ever turn on a light? They always use some rinky-dink flashlight, right? He spots a gold bear with ruby red eyes on top of a box. He opens the box to find an article about Mills and Wakefield. Then he gets a call from the Examiner saying that the red in Kelly’s eyes is ink, what the…? The sheriff looks back at the article and we see a picture of Mills with his eyes red-out and written in red marker is “You found her, now find me”

Well what do you think? I wasn’t expecting Stud to go so quickly. Is Shane just creep as all get out or what? Tell be your thoughts.

  2. I never expected Stud to be a victim - especially this early - but I can't say I'm disappointed. He was a total creep. As for Shane, I think he's a jerk and he can go any day now.

My question after the show ended was, why doesn't anyone seem to care about any of the missing people. No one has questioned the fact that cousin Ben still isn't there. And why wasn't anyone concerned that Lucy wasn't anywhere to be found all day. I mean she's supposed to be a bridesmaid, you would think she'd be with Trish to see the dress and what not. I find all that to be a little unbelievable.

  3. I was thrilled that this week's victim was Hunter. He drove me up the wall and was so annoying.

I'm still wondering how no one has found any bodies except for Kelly's.

  4. I really wasn't excepting it to be Hunter..well not yet anyways..but glad he's gone couldn't stand him. OMG!!I was in total shock when I saw Katherine and Richard..never saw that coming! I'm glad I wasn't the only one who saw that Trish was enjoying the closeness..I was like how could she.
I just knew Henry sent the note..hate it when I'm right! Cal getting Sully back...too funny!!

  5. Yeah, the thing with Richard and step-mommy really threw me for a loop! No wonder he told Henry that there are other things that make-up for marrying a Wellington.
Ok so I figure they have been on the island for only 3 days. Day 1- they arrived, Day 2- scavenger hunt. Day 3- investigate Kellys death.
So Uncle Marty is presumed to be galavanting with a woman. But did nobody go over the same bridge as Cal and Chloe? God only knows where in the woods the priest is ....pun intended. As for Lucy, well it was only the next day, so maybe nobody was really worried , yet.

  6. The moment where the British guy played his prank was the first time I actually laughed at something they wanted me to laugh at. I hope they have more moments like that.
