More secrets. Let’s find out who’s keeping secrets and who’s running their mouth (when they really, really shouldn’t be).

We finally meet Rose Kemper, the woman who’s house Orson broke into the night Edie died. Turns out, she thinks it was “Death” coming for her (and apparently he steals knick-knacks).

After whacking him upside the head with a baseball bat (go Rose!), she had a mild heart attack and ended up in the hospital where she told Katherine her “Death” story. Orson overhears, doesn’t want her to elaborate and end up getting him busted – so he convinces her doctor that she has dementia – bad Orson. Of course, he had also told Bree that he was going to try to be happy, which means no more lying. Looks like Orson is a compulsive liar as well as a kleptomaniac.

When Bree tells Andrew about Orson wanting to be happy, Andrew doesn’t buy it. Once again our former bad boy runaway is the voice of reason, and he tells Bree he doesn’t believe it and is going to talk to a divorce lawyer just in case. Bree finds out about Orson’s little Rosie dementia story and goes to Andrew’s house – she wants to divorce Orson.

When Mike goes to check on Dave – he flips and throws Mike out, so Mike enlists Susan’s help and asks him to check on Dave. When she does, forcing her way in with chicken sandwiches, she finds a gun. She mistakenly thinks he’s suicidal and runs all over the house taking the gun, all his meds, and his belts and ties. When she gets pulled over for driving and talking on her cell, the cop sees the gun and Susan gets arrested.

Our new busy little worker bee Lynette has taken to showering at the office – more specifically Carlos’s office, and Tom doesn’t like it. Later at home, when Lynette slips in the shower and knocks herself out – Carols finds her and carries her to her bed naked. They agree not to tell anyone so Tom won’t get jealous.

Gaby joins the Garden Club and threatens a coup d’etat because they actually have to garden – oh the horror!!! To swing the odds in her favor to be the new president, who does she get to join her side – Wisteria Lane’s desperate househusband Tom. Unfortunately, he gets too close to one of the home-wrecking housewives in the club and Gaby wigs.

When the secrets the Scavo’s and Solis’s are keeping start coming out during a dinner date at the Solis’s, things turns ugly – but make for one of the funniest moments of the episode.

At the end of the episode, the biggest secret of all is revealed. Susan confesses to Dave that she was driving the night that they had the car accident that killed Dave’s wife and daughter. Since she didn’t have her license on her, Mike covered for her. This pulls Dave right out of his depressive slump. Now he’s got some focus – and it’s on little MJ. Dude, you just don’t go there.

Well, I thought this episode was a little ho-hum. Nothing too exciting until the end when Susan revealed her secret. I hope these last couple of somewhat boring episodes are building up to a spectacular finale. And is it just me, or does the Orson storyline just keep getting worse? Let me know your two cents.

  2. I agree witht he ho-hum feeling. The bit of foreshadowing between Mike and Suan 'we did what we had to do' made me think the reveal was going to be something super killer (lol pun) like they lied about how the accident happened and it really was their fault. The reveal that it was Susan driving was just...well alright then. People drive without a license all the time and while it would hardly be just a slap on the wrist in the case of two dead people, it wouldn't change the fact that Susan and Mike were not at fault.
