This week was all about elegance and passion, with our group mixing it up and giving us a little bit of everything. There were tangoes, sambas, rhumbas, and more waltz than you could shake a dead cat at. Speaking of dead cats, we also had a couple of those this week. Who were they?

  1. This week was all about elegance and passion, with our group mixing it up and giving us a little bit of everything. There were tangoes, sambas, rhumbas, and more waltz than you could shake a dead cat at. Speaking of dead cats, we also had a couple of those this week. Who were they?

    Melissa Rycroft and Tony
    Dancing: the Argentine Tango
Judgment: The best dance of the night with a 29 out of 30.

    Shawn Johnson and Mark
    Dancing: the Cha Cha Cha
Judgment: A very solid 28 out of 30.

    Gilles Marini and Cheryl
    Dancing: the Viennese Waltz
Judgment: The previous forerunner has slipped a little bit, but still got a 27 out of 30.

    Chuck Wicks and Julianna
    Dancing: the Samba
Judgment: The country singer has risen fast and tied the talented Gilles with a 27 out of 30.

    Lil Kim and Derek
    Dancing: the Rumba
Judgment: While this would have once been a top score, a 26 out of 30 will get you fifth place these days.

    Ty Murray and Chelsie
    Dancing: the Waltz
Judgment: A respectable 24 out of 30, especially considering the scores he used to get.

    Lawrence Taylor and Edyta
    Dancing: The Waltz
Judgment: He turned out the worst dance of the night, and came away with a just a 21 out of 30.

So, there’s a quick recap of this weeks scores and dances. I peg Lawrence to go home this week. He had the poorest dance of the night. When you’re dancing with people getting within inches of the perfect score, a 21 is not going to cut it. We’re getting closer to the finale, so the pack is thinning to just the best. I also put Ty in the bottom two.

Who do you think is heading home? Is it Lawrence or Ty? Or will someone head home in a shocking twist tonight? What are your TwoCents?
