  1. TwoCents TwoMinute Recap
Ted is still dating Karen... the gang still hates Karen. Robin is still hosting a morning show at 4:00 AM… the gang still hasn’t watched her show. In order to appease Robin, the gang decides to have a slumber party at Lily and Marshall’s house to watch the show and when Ted shows up, he announces that he and Karen have split up because she found one of Robin’s earrings in his bed. As they settle in to watch the show, Ted discovers that Lily planted Robin’s earring in Ted’s bed to break Ted and Karen up. What’s more – she has broken Ted up with six of his girlfriends.

As Robin puts out a fire, performs CPR on her co-host, delivers a baby, and other fantastic things the gang never sees, they all argue over The Front Porch Test. The test is Lily’s gauge of who Ted will marry. If she can see them sitting on the front porch with she and Marshall in 40 years playing bridge, she doesn’t interfere. Ted flips out and Lily feels horrible. She sets up a nice dinner for Ted and Karen and apologizes for her actions. She tells Ted in a note that it doesn’t matter to her who he marries. She know that “they’ll be awesome because they’ll think [Ted is] awesome.” Ted figures out that it doesn’t matter what his friends think of his girlfriend, but it matters what his girlfriend thinks of his friends. He breaks up with Karen for good.

    TwoCents TwoFavorite Moments
    1. Barney’s suitjamas and the porn fantasy that accompanied it PLUS Marshall’s night shirt and the Big Lebowski fantasy that accompanied it.
    2. The front porch bridge game (they have no idea how to play bridge).

    TwoCents TwoFavorite Quotes
    1. “You weep for these women but you have the luxury of not knowing what I know. That those breakups, while tragic, probably saved you from a crappy and very expensive first marriage… Deep down you know that none of those women were EVER going to be the mother of your children,…” Lily’s A Few Good Men speech about why she meddled in Ted’s relationships.
    2. “It's like your junk is on a tropical island.” Marshall showing Barney what it's like wearing nightshirts over a heating vent.

What do YOU think? What are your pajamas like? What other tricks will the producers use to hide the two pregnant cast members (one in the VERY category)? Give us your Two Cents… We’ll buy some diamond earrings.

    Next Week: Old King Clancy

  2. Did anyone notice Robin showing the picture of her friends and pointing at Barney while crying? Yeah she performed CPR, extinguished a fire and delivered a baby but the real nugget was the picture.

  3. Yeah, it's getting harder & harder to hide Lilly's belly ~ those pillows & bags aren't working so well anymore! They'll be hiding her behind plants soon!

THANK HEAVENS Karen is gone. If she was "Mother" was I was going to have to stop watching the show. Just did not like her.

I liked that Robin & Ted finally talked about themselves over dinner.

Robin & Barney ... I'm ready for this to hurry up already!!
