Here's the rundown, sorry it's so late. Not like anyone is going to read this anyway. Nobody likes my recaps and I should just shut up and leave people alone.

Neela finds out about Brenner's troubled past (i.e. sexual abuse as a child). Neela and Brenner end up breaking up and Neela has to leave for Seattle to pick up a heart for her transplant patient. I guess they can't afford a medical courier.

Carter, and the rest of the essential medical staff (not Frank or Jerry), are interviewed for a documentary. Carter, not due for his next dialysis for another few days, also collapses and dies in the ER, but he's brought back to life. He can't die yet anyway, Clooney and Eric La Salle haven't shown up.

Morris wants his cop girlfriend to move in with him, but of course she gets shot several times and ends up in the ER herself. Claudia ends up surviving but there's some drama about her having to have an emergency hysterectomy -- she doesn't end up getting it.

Sam Taggert visits with her mom, who now seems to remember who Sam is at least. Grandma Taggert wants to know what ever became of the baby that she was pregnant with when she ran away 16 years ago. Sam tells her his name is Alex. A nurse at the facility where her mom is staying tries to comfort Sam by saying that her mom is being so mean because of the stroke, but Sam tells her that her mother is exactly the same as she was before the stroke. Gates doesn't do much except bring Sam's mom a blanket that Sam washed for her and give her mother some perspective on how people see Sam at the hospital. Frank and Jerry give an emergency allergy shot to a patient with a severe peanut allergy. Hello, lawsuit?

Carter must have some great insurance, because they move him from County to Northwestern by ambulance. I hope he doesn't spend his final days in some other hospital.
