The first surprise of the evening was Matt Giraud landing in the bottom three. He’s a judges’ favorite. He was quickly joined by Michael Sarver and Scott MacIntyre (who looked completely surprised).

In the end, Michael sang for a second chance that in no way was even a possibility. I’m still in shock from last week that Michael survived the much-more-talented Alexis Grace.

And so we’re down to the Top 9. Who do you think will go next? And will Megan Joy ever be exposed as just a pretty face with a quirky tone, but no real singing ability? Isn’t it about a given that Adam Lambert is going to win this whole thing? This week is not only once again proved he has the best chops, but that he also knows how to play the game.

    What do you think?
