  1. Oh no, the Tatiana of Terror is back!

OK, before we get why she’s back, three more finalists made it to the safety of the silver stools. Knowing that there was NO suspense at all in Lil Rounds’ advancement, Ryan started off with her and quickly proclaimed her “safe.” Duh.

But I have to admit, the two other finalists could have been any of five other contestants.

But in the end, Scott MacIntyre (AKA The Blind Guy) climbed into the second seat and then Ju’Not Joyner and Jorge Nuñez faced the last elimination together and I really thought that Ju’Not had it. I was wrong. Guess Jorge’s tears after his performance Tuesday night hit voters hard.

I still say this group had the most evenly matched contestants, although Lil was the only really strong stand out. That was also evident in the group number — Katy Perry's “Hot N’ Cold,” which had delicious harmonies. However, it had the worst choreography ever, with all the men on a bench (this may have been because of Scott’s disability as he stayed seated the whole time). Still, very awkward.

So good-bye Arianna Afsar, Taylor Vaifanua, Alex Wagner-Trugman, Kendall Beard, Kristen McNamara, Nathaniel Marshall, Felicia Barton, Ju’Not Joyner. You might have noticed that list didn’t include Von Smith. Read on to find out why.

This had to be the best paced results show ever. No filler singers or clips. It was all about results. And as soon as the three silver stools had occupants, it was time for the judges to select the eight wildcard contestants who will get a second chance tonight.

Each judge picked (or at least announced) two contestants. They said it was a group decision and that at least one of the decisions changed right before they came out to make the announcement. Wonder who almost had their life changed forever — then didn’t. Better that we not know.

Randy: Von Smith. The rest of the judges advise him not to wear a hat.

Kara: Jasmine Murray. Picked for her “commercial prospects.”

Paula: Ricky Braddy. This is no surprise as Paula has publicly said he’s her favorite this year.

Simon: Megan Joy Corkrey. Again, no big surprise.

Randy: Tatiana del Toro. “We all stayed up on this decision.” Translation: The producers really wanted her back for the drama — which Tatitana immediately provided by breaking down in tears to the point that she could barely stand. Bad producers! Bad producers!

Kara: Matt Giraud. “The bluest singer we’ve ever heard.” Is “bluest” really a word?

Paula: Jesse Langseth. “She has a bluesy vibe.”

By now, I’m on the edge of my seat — what about Anoop? I watch as he’s curled into a ball on the sofa, obviously praying or having his own break down.

Simon: Anoop. “He’s original, talented and we genuinely like him.”

So these eight will compete tonight for the three remaining spots in the Top 12. Who do you think will make it? Are you happy or furious that Tatiana is back? Is there anybody who is now gone forever that you thought deserved a Wild Card?
