Last time we saw Jack Bauer he was exposed to radiation from Jonas’ WMD. Personally, I hope he wasn’t. It’s really tough to save the world being irradiated and all.
While the CDC is undressing Jack, we see the WMD being dropped off at Jonas Hodges’ hideout. Jonas tells Greg that they’ll have to come up with a different way to get to Tony, because he doesn’t believe that torture will work with him.

11:09
President Taylor asks Olivia to be her interim Chief of Staff to replace Ethan. She accepts but seems to have someone outside of the White House that would be a good permanent replacement. Just then, Larry calls in and updates her on the new threat of the biological weapons. He asks for her permission to raid Starkwood immediately.
11:17
Larry updates Renee on Starkwood and Jack being exposed. He also apologizes for not believing her earlier in the day. At the White House, Olivia asks Aaron to be the head of her security for the secret service. He reminds her that he’s retired, but she insists. At the Joint Chiefs of Staff meeting, they get a preliminary report from the pathogen that Starkwood has acquired. It damages the nervous system and causes dementia and later death. The President doesn’t have an easy answer from any of the board members, but wants to work to get the right answer before another attack happens on the country. Elsewhere, one of Hodges’ cronies puts a gun up to Tony to ask him one more time about what the FBI knows. When Tony refuses, the guy goes to shoot him… only to be shot himself by Greg. Greg tells Tony that he wants immunity if he helps the U.S. government find the WMD’s. This seems like a Jonas trap to me, that silly goose. But we shall see. Jack finds out what his exposure was but it seems like it was positive.
11:30
Jack comes into FBI headquarters and sees Renee. He tells her that he was exposed with the pathogen. Apparently, the pathogen was designed to not be contagious past one person. So Jack is infected, but cannot infect others. Greg and Tony call in to tell Larry about Greg’s request for immunity and Larry says that he’s going to call the President.
11:40
Larry calls into the White House and President Taylor signs the immunity document for Greg. She then authorizes the raid on Starkwood. Jack finds out about the raid and wants in. However, Larry declines telling him that he’s done enough for the country today. Also, he doesn’t know when the pathogen will start taking effect on Jack and can’t risk having him out in the field. Jack tells him that he understands. (But does he? Hmmm…)
11:51
While Tony and Greg approach the warehouse, Larry and the team are flying in. They land and meet up with Tony and Greg. After all of the guards stand down they raid the building. When they enter, it is a large empty warehouse. (Who didn’t see THAT coming?) Greg tells Larry that Tony put a gun to his head and forced him to give a location. Tony denies it and tells Larry that Greg must have played him. They leave the warehouse and then start getting surrounded by militarized Hummers with armed soldiers. Then out comes the guy that Greg supposedly killed. He tells Larry that if he doesn’t leave immediately that the forces will be fired upon.
I would say that this was one of those tweener episodes. You know, one of those episodes that have to set up the next two or so. I am very curious to see how they’re going to handle Jack’s exposure. I can’t see them killing him off, so are they actually going to find a cure somewhere in the last 8 episodes? It should get interesting.
