  1. As Larry and the FBI are buzzing around the office looking to find Motabo, Ethan is trying to reach Agent Gedge on his cell phone looking for Henry. Of course, being deceased as Agent Gedge is, he isn’t able to get to the phone right now.

Dubaku finally gets to see Motabo. Dubaku reminds him that he offered his hand out to him in their plan to take over Sangala, and reminds him that he refused. He wants names of all of the “traitors” of Sangala and insinuates that his wife will pay the price if he doesn’t comply. At the same time, Jack and the team are closing in on him. Renee walks through the front door as an FBI agent on business and helps let Jack, Tony & Bill in. Elsewhere, Janis discovers a hint of Dubaku’s next target of Gidron Ohio. She calls the plant manager of a power plant to threaten him of the attack and he confirms that the pressure is building and he can’t stop it.

Ethan and Tim notify President Taylor of the oncoming attack and tell her that finding Dubaku may be their only hope to save the people of Gidron. The plant manager wants to release some of the pressure from the tanks to buy some time before they explode while Janis helps him through. He will be in personal danger doing this and knows it. Dubaku discovers that the team is in the building and orders the CIP device to be pulled for relocation. But it’s too late as the team comes shooting in. Renee secures Motabo and his wife and it appears that the CIP device is destroyed. However, Dubaku is nowhere to be found.

As the pressure is receding in the plant, Janis is trying to keep the manager awake and hopefully alive. The team is still looking for Dubaku and they run into Latham who Dubaku wired up with a bomb! It goes off killing Latham (obviously) but Jack and the team gets out of the way in time. Still, no Dubaku. Meanwhile, Janis is saddened by the fact that the heroic plant manager died from the gas.

President Taylor is happy that the crisis was averted, but wants to know what happened. Ethan approaches the President and tells her that Henry is still moving forward with the conspiracy concept and had went to Samantha’s apartment. She orders an APB to fine her husband. Gedge’s accomplice gets the ABP on Henry and rushes up to the apartment to see what happened. Henry races for Gedge’s gun but doesn’t get to it in time. Henry tells the aggressor that it wouldn’t be a good idea to kill him since Gedge is already dead. It would look like a murder now if Henry were killed. The accomplice makes a call and it’s Dubaku! He tells him not to kill Henry, but to bring him to him.

Jack tells the gang that he thinks that they now need outside help to find Dubaku. Motabo suggests that telling President Taylor would be the best plan, since he trusts her implicitly. After some discussion they decide that this will be the plan and they look to take Motabo to the White House. Tony doesn’t want to go, because he will be arrested if he gets caught. Jack agrees but makes Tony promise to turn himself in when it’s all over. Tony shakes his hand and says he will, but his face afterward tells a different story. Dubaku finds himself at an apartment safe house. A knock at the door reveals that he has a girlfriend that must live close. She works at a diner and reminds him of plans that evening. He cancels and she tells him that he works too hard.

Yeah.. he works too hard all right. I had a feeling that Dubaku wouldn’t be caught with so much more of the day to go. But I still find myself to root for it every time! When will I ever learn? I hope that Taylor will prove to be like President Palmer and finally be a trustworthy Commander-in-Chief. I would like to see a rekindling of a Jack Bauer-President relationship of trust like we did in the first 3 seasons. What do YOU think?
