The craziness and drama continues at Mode this week, as usual! Betty and Amanda's living arrangements are growing tiresome and now they have to do an assignment together. Daniel's growing attraction for Conner's girlfriend is more and more of a struggle. The craziness and drama continues at Mode this week, as usual! Betty and Amanda's living arrangements are growing tiresome and now they have to do an assignment together. Betty & Amanda:
Betty and Amanda have the job of sharing with readers: "How I blew ten grand without spending a dime." Now remember, Amanda is not helping Betty with rent or food, but she goes out all the time is shopping... for sale items though. So now they plan to go out on the town, spending other peoples money.

Betty learns from Amanda how to go to stores and get free samples of cosmetics, without actually purchasing anything. They buy clothes, tuck the tag, wear it once, then return it. Go to art shows(the ugliest art is the best) for the best food and champagne. While at the art show they get picked up buy two guys. They go to dinner and enjoy a fantastic dinner and expensive champagne. Betty feels guilty but when talking to Hilda (via phone) who tells her to enjoy it, she finally does and goes back to the table. Needless to say, the guys who "left to make a call" don't come back and stiff the girls with the dinner bill. Well, well, well, maybe these guys are writing an article as well. So Betty , being the clever Betty we all know and love, asks for the manager and says that she is writing an article for Mode on the restaurant and plans to do a special feature and so the manager takes care of the bill. The girls leave and are totally stoked on getting away without paying a dime for dinner, when Amanda finds out that the guys stole her purse. Then things get even worse, when Amanda tells her she didn't get to the landlords that day, and all the rent money was in the purse, too. Betty is livid and goes off , yelling at Amanda and telling her she has to be more responsible for what she does .

Betty talks to her dad bout what happened, and he advises her to learn something from Amanda. She goes home and writes the article. Daniel loves it ! He wants the girls to do something every week and write about it. Betty is a bit reluctant since she did yell at Amanda. When Betty runs down Amanda at the office, she finds out Amanda is working a second job so she can help with the rent. Betty thanks her for the fun they had and tells her what Daniel said. When Amanda comes home from work, Betty has dinner waiting for her.

    Daniel & Molly
Molly asks Daniel for a donation for a school fundraiser and then asks if he would like to go, since Conner can't. Daniel says yes, and is excited. Claire sees this and is concerned. She tells Daniel that she can see he has a crush on Molly and that he shouldn't get involved. Claire points out that Molly is engaged and to an senior executive and friend. So Daniel backs out of his offer. When Molly comes to pick up the check, she tries some of his Chinese food and spills some on her dress. Daniel takes her down to "the closet" where Christina keeps all the clothes and gives her a red dress to try on. She looks amazing! As Daniel tries to zip up the dress, they have a sexually charged moment and she leaves.
But no, that can't be the end of it. Marc and Willie have the security tape of Daniel and Molly's moment. They have a plan brewing. They see Daniel looking at Molly like Betty looks at a cheeseburger. (my favorite line of the night)

    Wilhelmina & Christina
Wilhelmina doesn't even want to be in the same room with Conner, after what happened last week. (he turned her sexual advances down) So when Christina tells Willie that she is having a 7th month checkup and sonogram, Willie joins her for the day.As they talk, Christina finds out that Willie likes Conner, but his feeling were not reciprocated. Christina tells her she still is going to have a man around the house....she is having a boy! All together now.....awww!

Well that was the drama for this week, what did you think? Did you like Betty and Amanda together? Is there any ice melting off of Wilhelmina?Let me know...leave a comment.

    Thanks for listening

  2. I liked the Betty and Amanda moments this week. It was nice to see Betty have some fun and Amanda try to be nice for a change (I thought it was sweet that she wanted to take the rent to the landlord for Betty since he creeps her out).

Just when you think Willie might be melting - she pulls a devious stunt. You know she's up to no good with the security tape - so now she's going to be watching Daniel and Molly even more closely.

  3. I have to admit I am glad the writers are responding to the publics cry for more Marc and Amanda moments, they are quite funny and work so well together. But still miss Henry.I would love to see Henry working with Conner in some way. ( just me and my thoughts)
