I’ll be honest: This episode made my brain hurt. There was so much paranoia, second-guessing, and backstabbing that I found myself rewinding here and there just to understand what the heck was going on. Add another fake Immunity Idol to the mix and you’ve got yourself an episode that could give Samuel Beckett a run for his money. Look it up.

  1. I’ll be honest. This episode made my brain hurt. There was so much paranoia, second-guessing, and backstabbing that I found myself rewinding here and there just to understand what the heck was going on. The Top 7 Things I Learned from Survivor: Gabon

Matty decided now would be a good time to settle down and grow up (never mind that he is on a 30+ day game show in the middle of Africa). He proposed to his girlfriend who was visiting camp, along with other family members, via the Reward Challenge. Jeff was impressed.

Susie flew under the radar yet again. All she has to do is sit back and watch the paranoia eat everyone else up.

Sugar got an earful from Bob after Tribal Council about the way she acted when Randy was voted out. He was more than happy to get rid of Randy, but Sugar really behaved rudely and Bob put her in her place. Then, when her sister visited, she was able to scatter some of her father’s ashes in the lake. With such an introspective couple of days, she was pretty quiet the rest of the episode

Crystal ended up being the swing vote in a hair-brained scheme that Bob thought up (more on that later) and could have altered the course of the game. But, after sitting back and thinking about things, her self-preservation kicked in and she left Bob and Ken out to dry.

Ken thinks he is running the show, which couldn’t be farther from the truth. He decide to jump ship from his alliance of five based on some false information from Bob and Corrine (I guess he deserved it, he has done the same to several others in the show). But now, he is hosed because his alliance knows he turned on them. Count your days, Ken! Yay!

Bob is seriously smart. Aside from the game, he actually built a skillet upon which to fry fish. Back in the game, he made yet another fake Immunity Idol and came up with a plan to say it was the one thrown in the ocean a few episodes back, forcing some of the weaker players to side with him and Corinne because they had “power.” Winning Individual Immunity sealed the deal as he tried to convince Ken and Crystal to vote for Matty. Ken fell for it, Crystal didn’t. Nice try, Bob!

Corrine is really an ugly person. She is so full of hate and anger and malice, that when she talked about not wanting to see any of the other people after the show was over, I counted those other people lucky. She was voted out, thank goodness! Go take an anger management class or something!

What do YOU think? Did you follow the twists and turns? How crazy is Corrine? Who will be voted out next? Give us your Two Cents… We’ll put it towards Corrine’s psychiatric co-pay.

  2. Corrine is a witch with a capital "B"
I hate her more than I think I've ever hated a Survivor before in the entire history of the show and that INCLUDES Johnny Fairplay.
