  1. After a week off for the American Music Awards, Desperate Housewives came back with a bang! As you all remember, the town is recovering for a devastating fire that happened at the nightclub where most of the residents of Fairview were spending their evening. The death toll was up to 7. Let’s see what happened.

Susan: She goes to the hospital to visit Mike to make sure everything is okay with him. It’s then that she finds out that Mike is seeing someone; one of her friends. She doesn’t find out who it is until later on when she goes to Katherine’s house to simply hang out. She accidently eats a cookie, the same one she ate while spending time with Mike in the hospital. That’s when she finds out that Katherine has been sleeping with Mike, and worse off-she finds out that Bree has known for a month. In the end, she’s okay with the situation and everything is fine between her and Katherine and Bree.

Lynette: She’s in the hospital with Tom whose hand was cut open during the incident. That’s when they are questioned by the police about Porter. Lynette lies to the police about Porter threatening to kill Mr. Shilling. Lynette also visits Anne in the hospital since she was there from the beating she took from her husband. It’s then that we find out that Lynette is paying her to stay away from her son. We also find out that she was never pregnant. She then decides to ask Porter personally if he set the fire, and promised to be there for him no matter what, as long as he told the truth. He tells her the truth that he did not start the fire, but she was unable to tell him the truth about knowing where Anne had gone to.

Bree: Bree is doing a cooking demonstration at a local mall, but before that happens, Orson’s injuries leave him with a HORRIBLE snoring problem. He refused to have surgery because he’s afraid of dying, even though it’s an incredibly simple procedure. After Bree has taken a sleeping pill, she sleeps in and is late to her mall demonstration. She then decides to drink some tea that Orson originally made and laced with a sleeping pill. He realized that she had already taken on the night before so he didn’t allow her to drink it then. He was a bit too late the next morning, and she goes to the mall acting completely drunk, but that was obviously not the case. She then forces Orson to get the surgery to help with the snoring and that’s when we find out that his doctor is in a relationship with Andrew!

Gabby: Carlos might be able to regain his sight! They are so happy about this until Gabby realizes that her looks have left her. She then goes into major healthy-eating mode as well as intense work-out mode. She finally confronts Carlos about her fears that he’ll no longer find her attractive and he tells her the story about why he proposed in the first place. It was never about her beauty, it was always about her. This scene made me cry, I’m not going to lie!

Edie: Seriously-I love Edie, and I miss her terribly. Her roles in these episodes are so small and I really hope that changes soon. But that didn’t leave us with any shortages of Dave! He’s walking around the hospital looking so sad. It’s obvious that he’s feeling guilty about killing so many innocent people, but in the end, his evil side shows up again. He goes to the police and tells them that Porter Scavo had something to do with it. It seemed as if he was so close to being the good guy and coming clean, but that was definite wishful thinking on my part.

Katherine: I already covered this in Susan’s portion, but it’s great that her and Mike’s relationship is now in the open. I can’t wait to see where that takes her.

After next Sunday, there are no more new episodes until after the New Year. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving also!! However, what did you think about this episode? Leave your comments on here or email me at Faye@thetwocentscorp.com. I cannot wait to find out what your TwoCents were! I’ll see you all next week.

  2. ok, so in my opinion...is Susan REALLY happy to have Mike and Katherine have a relationship...I think not. My guess is that in a episode or two we are going to see Susan wanting Mike back. As for Dave...I can't believe the SOB is going to let Porter take the fall!
