When eight people, including two police officers, are executed in a coffee shop, an LAPD detective gets the team on the case, and they uncover a trail of blackmail, romance and corruption. Also, McGowan's investigation of Charlie and Don deepens.

8 Dead Bodies – 3 Cops – 1 File – 2 Days After The Murder

Here’s What We Learned This Week:

- From the first 2 minutes – nothing. Seemed to be clips from the episode BEFORE we saw it? I’m so confused!
- I’m a PC just like B.G.
- Keith Carradine runs a tight investigation.
- Nobody leads Charlie Epps anywhere.

    - I’m a PC just like B.G.
    - Keith Carradine runs a tight investigation.
    - Nobody leads Charlie Epps anywhere.
    - Clearance or no clearance Charlie still knows how to make an exit.
    - Don’s girlfriend is being offered a job in NYC. Uh oh.
    - The President (D.B. Woodside) from 24 has been demoted to Robbery Homicide in NUMB3RS.
    - Charlie has clearance with the LAPD (still not FBI).
    - Jonathan Silverman isn’t the Single Guy anymore, he’s a TV/Movie producer this week.
    - LAPD invented S.W.A.T. and D.A.R.E. – COOL.
    - I like the new way they put Charlie into the scenes of his metaphors.
    - AC/DC has a new album coming out. The real question - does anyone care?
    - Morena Baccarin from Firefly is still VERY attractive with VERY short hair.
    - Sometimes following the rules will get you killed faster.
    - New “guy” doesn’t know why the FBI isn’t blind to the LAPD “wrong doings”.
    - Colby slept with a witness. That’s never good.
    - Schmidt doesn’t have the file.
    - We don’t get to choose which rules we obey.
    - Charlie is not going to throw his brother under a bus. See, I told you that last week.
    - Yup – all the scenes from the first 2 minutes were a megamix of clips from this episode.
    - People still can rig cars to blow up when you open the car door. Nice to see the classics still work.
    - Don finally told his girlfriend that he wants her to stay.
    - Either Charlie is back in FBI or Don quits.
    - Next week the Fonz shows up!
