First off sorry this is posted so late, my computer has been on the fritz for the past four days and I got behind on everything. Ok, lets get this show on the road…..

The episode opens with a white van screeches to a stop and men in hazmat suits dump a woman out onto the street. Dazed and more than a little confused she stumbles into Holly’s Diner. The cute waiter gives her some soup and call the police because he believes she got herself into some trouble.

The Cop asked her some questions but she cant remember her name and keeps mumbling that someone put things into her. Mr. Cop suggests she come to the station with him and when she refuses, he slaps the cuffs on her. The cute waiter begins convulsing and bleeding from the eyes. Other customers follow suit blood vessels popping. Completely freaked out She stumbled backward to the door and her head explodes coating the glass door in blood and brain matter. So begins another eye popping episode of Fringe.

    THE EPISODE IN A NUTSHELL
Patient Zero was Emily Kramer and she had a rare autoimmune disease that was incurable. She and other victims of the disease had dedicated themselves to finding a cure and eventually they did. Time-release radiation capsules cured her but the experiments performed on her by the men in suits mixed with the tozins and formed a deadly combination. She became a walking radioactive bomb, cooking the brains of those around her. The evil corporation behind the experiments is Intrepus and they have taken Claire Williams, another victim of the disease. As the team race against the clock to save her, Peter makes a deal with Nina so they can find Claire‘s location, Olivia butts heads with Sexy!Agent Broyles after confronting Intrepus’ CEO, David Estebrook, without his knowledge, and Walter blows up a papaya.

    WHAT WE LEARNED

After Peter confronts Olivia about her attitude, she reveals its her birthday and some sad facts about her childhood. As a kid she had a stepfather who hit her mother on a regular basis, one day after beating the crap outta her mother he drove off but minutes later returned and nine year old Olivia shot him. He survived and left, never to be seen again but every year he sends her a birthday card to remind her of his existence, and that he hasn’t forgotten.

Nina Sharpe knew Peter as a kid….hmmm, very interesting tidbit right there.

Peter has had dealing with technology-shy tribes.

    THE GOOD
Chris Eigman as David Estebrook: He played the calculating villain perfectly and had great chemistry with Anna Torv.

Blair Brown as Nina Sharp: She brings so much to the table in all her scenes, she should never be absent.

I really like the final scene between Peter and Olivia, their interaction felt authentic and comfortable, like an old shoe.

I simply adore the 90/60 second commercial breaks! I wish fox did it with all their shows.

    THE BAD
Am I the only one who doesn’t like the cow?

The out-of-the-blue revelation of Olivia’s past. I think it explains a lot about her character but tptb should have spent a few episodes on build up because it felt contrived.

Well, that’s it for now, unfortunately Fringe is on hiatus for the next three weeks so that will leave a hole in your Tuesday lineup. I recommend joining an online community so you can discuss those crazy pictures that show up before the commercial breaks and the significance of the cow.
