As I watched Desperate Housewives last night, I realized that with all the shows I like this season, it’s by far the best that’s come back. Don’t get me wrong…I’m impressed with this season of Heroes and Private Practice, but it’s the Sunday night episode of Housewives that make television full of pleasure. I hope you all agree with me here!

    • Susan: Jackson meets Mike who insists on getting to know him since he’ll be around MJ. They end up truly getting along, but while they are spending time together, Mike lets it slip about Susan’s sexual turn-ons. This really upsets Susan and when she confronts Mike about it, there is a wonderful moment where he pretty much admits to still loving Susan. At the end, the comedy added in there where Karl appears, so now Jackson has met and had conversations with both of Susan’s ex-husbands.

    • Bree: Her book cover came out titling her as Bree Van De Kamp. Orson is not happy with this but Bree insists on keeping it because it “sounds” better than Hodge. She goes on the radio and meets someone who could possibly make a quote about her food on the book flap. At the end of the episode, Orson is waiting in their dining room until after midnight for Bree to make the Pot Roast she had promised. This forces Bree into the kitchen in tears. This made me really angry with Orson, but it’s finally time for Bree to show more emotions than “happy” all the time!

    • Lynette: She is concerned that Porter is getting into some trouble so she makes up and online profile on a “Facebook” type program pretending to be 16 years old. She starts talking to Porter who reveals a lot about himself, especially his love for poetry. Tom warns her to stop but she doesn’t listen and Porter ends up falling in love with her. She goes to break up with him and accidently reveals herself as his mom. He gets very angry but we find out that he truly enjoyed talking to Lynette-even though eh won’t admit it to her.

    • Gabby: She and Carlos get invited to a party but after Carlos takes a job as a masseur at the country club, they are uninvited because they have become the “help.” They end up going to the party anyway; Gabby snuck in. They are kicked out of the party and that’s when Carlos reassures Gabby that despite the fact that he can’t see, he’ll always know that she’ll be the most beautiful person in the world. I love these moments between them. It feels so real.

    • Edie: Edie asks Dave why they moved to Wisteria Lane only to get a run-around answer. She’s also getting trouble from Karen (good old Karen…) and Dave decides to ask her to apologize. He does this nicely at first, but then steals her cat until she does. It was so horrible to see her suffer like that. Now Karen has asked Katherine to help her get more information about Edie’s husband and who he REALLY is. This should be interesting.

See, with so much going on, how can it not be the best show on television?!?! want to know what you thought too! Leave your comments on here or email me at Faye@thetwocentscorp.com. I cannot wait to find out what your TwoCents were! I’ll see you all next week.

  2. alright, so let me just say that Lynettes going on the computer to snoop on the son, totally hit home with me (lol). Carlos - waving to nobody in the kitchen, too funny.

  3. So Susan got in the way of her own life (again) and screwed up her relationship with Mike (again) but they both still, secretly, love each other (again) .... I'm no longer caring, new story line please!!

Lynette, God love her, she's trying at least.

Gabby ... I'm just not liking the "Fat Kid" story line. I'm hoping they drop that one quickly. The rest of her story - GREAT!! It's about time they show what happens when the real world smacks you!

Bree - she didn't knock Orson in the head for that crap?! What happened to my girl?!!?

Edde - are they setting her up for a battered wife story line?
