In this episode we learned that Booth thinks he would be a smoking hot woman, bones will always swim with a buddy, the pope is vain, and you cannot kiss your elbow.

I really enjoyed this episode. Serious discussion of religion and how I affects those who don’t fit the usual ‘mold’.

A corpse is found by two ‘hippies’. Technically only the top half of the body. The victim is Patricia Ludllow, born Patrick Stevenson, she was a television evangelist in her previous life but disappeared without a trace and underwent a sex change. She had started a church for the outcasts of society, the druggies, the drunks, and the felons. So begins a long list of suspects, including her assistant pastor, a recovering alcoholic, parishioner - JP, and her son from her past life, played by the incredible David Gallagher. So begins a tale of religion, regret, and redemption. The bad guy, or girl in this case was obvious from the beginning (JP’s wife did it) but was captured my attention was the back-story of the Stevenson family. Onward to the lists….

    THE GOOD
David Gallagher has grown up considerably, portraying Patricia/Patrick’s son, Ryan, who threw off the televangelist money-grubbing mantle to find peace with his relationship to god. I absolutely loved his character, kudos to the casting director on the choice.

The church members: I liked how they weren’t your typical Christians and the exchange between the Assistant Pastor and booth was well played by all involved.

Booth and Brennans religious banters. It is one topic that never grows old and Brennan never fails to bring a laugh. Especially with her ‘the pope is vain’ and ’wine to blood’ speeches.

Booth and Sweets betting on the status of Ryan Stevenson. Brennan looked so pleased to be the banker.

The Ending: Ryan’s speech on redemption through transformation, Booth got it but all Brennan took from the case was never go swimming without a buddy.

    THE BAD
I felt the whole scene in Sweets office where Booth got tongue tied over what to call Patricia, it lasted too long and fell flat.

I did not like Vince, this weeks ‘Zack Replacement.’. His personality was too much, although I will admit to laughing a few times at Cam’s reaction to his pointless ramblings.

    THE UGLY
The fact that tptb are continuing the steady line of Zack replacements. I don’t know about you guys, but I am ready for it to end. Just bring back zack in a recurring position and be done with it.

No new bones until November! *cries* It was a good note to end on and in the meantime leave me your two cents in the comments below.

    THE QUOTES
Vincent: The pelvic bones says, “I be male.”
Cam: “The pelvic bone can say what it wants but this part says female.
    Vincent: What part is that?
    Cam: Its called a vagina.

Booth: Would you like me better as a woman?
    Brennan: No.
    Booth: “Why?”
Brennan: Id be jealous that you might be prettier than I am.
Booth: I would be. I would be hot, smoking’ hot!

I find it funny how the religion issue is always brought up.There is always a even look and both side of catholic and non-catholic beliefs.
