  1. The Top 7 Things I Learned About the Teams on The Amazing Race 13

    1. Nick and Starr [Siblings]: Even with some pretty stupid missteps (Starr didn’t trust the driver working for the show so she stopped to ask for directions, allowing several teams to pass), the siblings landed on the mat first and won a trip to St. John.

    2. Toni and Dallas [Mother and Son]: Now, I have always thought Dallas’ hair was pretty ugly, but when that hair was made fun of by Kelly and Christy, I was mad. But Dallas wasn’t phased by it… he just articulated the feeling I have had for a while now: that the divorcees think they are God’s gift to the world. The mom and son team arrived in second place.

    3. Terence and Sarah [Newly Dating]: In a strange twist, the pair will be given a 30 minute penalty at the beginning of the next leg for getting pulled over for speeding in New Zealand. I’m not sure why they did not take the penalty at the pit stop, but I guess it wouldn’t have mattered much. And who knew The Amazing Race frowns on law-breakers?

    4. Ken and Tina [Separated]: Blowing their huge lead, Tina really hurt the team while looking for a clue in a Cambodian Temple. I love it when the camera, fixed on the clue, catches players passing it by several times saying things like “I must be blind.” Apparently.

    5. Kelly and Christy [Divorcees]: Upon seeing other teams at a floating basketball court, the two stopped and joined in the game. Too bad the other teams were fulfilling a list of things set forth in a clue from another location that Kelly and Christy hadn’t been too yet. It was embarrassing.

    6. Andrew and Dan [Fraternity Brothers]: Keeping with their tradition of arriving at the mat in a penultimate position, the frat boys did one stupid thing after another, including stating my favorite line of the night “Where is Cambodia?”

    7. Aja and Ty [Long Distance Dating]: This team never got it together and they were eliminated from the race. The good news? Ty is moving to LA to be closer to Aja. Awww!

What do YOU think? Do you know where Cambodia is? Were those Cambodian temples cool or what? Who will be eliminated next? Give us your Two Cents… We’ll use it to buy the frat boys an atlas.
