House is back and he’s at his Housiest! In the wake of Amber’s death that was accidentally sort of House’s fault, kind of, Wilson drops the bomb that he’s leaving the hospital. Can House stop him and save their friendship? Will House just call him an idiot? Will Cuddy’s attempt at “couples counseling” be a big ol’ stupid failure? Well, two out of three ain’t bad, right?
The patient of the week is one flunky (I didn’t even catch her name, that’s how unimportant she seemed to the actual episode, if you caught it, help a sister out) for an important head honcho of a feminist organization. Well, Flunkerella thinks she has ants crawling all over her and starts ripping her clothes off in a meeting full of men in suits. Oh, they caught us up with the irony right off the bat, folks!
So, while House and the crew are trying to figure out what’s wrong with Flunkerella there, House outs 13 about her Huntington’s diagnosis, which 13 adamantly denies. But it turns out she really does have the disease anyway. In fact, she hates on Flunkerella for being content with her job as an assistant. Flunkerella tells her she’d rather hang with the birds than stay behind because she doesn’t have wings. Thirteen wants to do something meaningful with the time she has left.
Wilson is back after a two month sabbatical but puts in his resignation. Cuddy wants House to apologize and get Wilson to stay, but House won’t. He just calls Wilson an idiot, of course. Cuddy stages the counseling fiasco, which, much like all her other plans, works about as well as, hell, I can’t even think up a good metaphor, so yeah, it was stupid and pointless.
So, Flunkerella ends up with an ectopic pregnancy (yeah, that one hit close to home for me since I’m newly pregnant myself. Listening to them talk about removing the fetus was kind of hard for me, but I stuck it out. That’s how much I love you), a fake case of MS, a fake case of lymphoma and a real case of leprosy. Antibiotics and prednisone are all she needs.
All Wilson needed was to hear House’s real sincere apology in order to tell him that he’s still leaving because House is a boil on the butt of humanity. He doesn’t blame House for Amber’s death, but Wilson says he and House are no longer friends because House spreads misery and makes everyone around him miserable. And with that, Wilson walks away. House looks crushed. I want to hug him. A lot.

Based on the preview for next week, I think House is going to continue to be well... House until Wilson gives up Amber for the white flag and returns in hope that House will just STOP.

If Wilson thinks that House will ever stop being House, that man is delusional. But if Wilson didn't come back, I'd miss the exchange between him and House.
