So, Wilson’s gone for good and House has a new bff in Lucas, the P.I. I don’t know about you guys, but man, I think I might like Lucas more than Wilson. Is that sacrilegious? Is House moving on? Will Lucas prove to be completely awesome and totally cute? Let’s find out!

Hey look, you guys, it’s Breckin Meyer! And he’s an artist painting a very tasteful nude of a slightly middle aged woman while her husband watches. But wait, turns out Brandon (Meyer) did the painting a little less like Reuben and a bit more Van Gogh for the husband’s taste due to Brandon’s being unaware of his distorted vision. So the man does what any husband would do when confronted with a funkified image of his wife, he punches Brandon in the face.

So, Lucas the P.I. is still hanging around and House has him digging up dirt on his team, namely Taub. House tells Taub about the secret bank account with about 100k in it that Taub’s wife has put away in it. As you’ll recall, Taub cheated on his wife at his last job as a plastic surgeon. Apparently Taub has kept that little nugget very hush-hush. Turns out, Mrs. Taub bought her hubby a Porsche. So she’s not making a divorcee fund after all. Taub still decides to tell his wife about the nugget.

Brandon’s symptoms keep coming and going and finally the team finds out that he was involved in three clinical trials for experimental drugs to make ends meet as he wasn’t selling paintings regularly. Brandon’s kept that little nugget hush-hush from his girlfriend.

House devises a plan to blackmail Cuddy which involves Lucas hitting on Cuddy, but it kind of backfires because Cuddy and Lucas seem to genuinely like each other.

So the team finally figures out what’s wrong with Brandon. It’s a hairball. It’s a friggin HUGE hairball, at that. Chase removes it. Is Chase the only surgeon in that hospital or is he the only surgeon that’ll do work for House?

Back in House’s apartment: Yay! House playing piano! Oh man, it’s Lucas. House and Lucas have a little jam session. Aw, I like these two together. Who needs Wilson?

What do you think of House and Lucas together? Do you think Lucas is a better friend for House than Wilson? Do you think Lucas and Cuddy will hook up? Do you think Taub’s wife will forgive him? Let us know in the comments or send me an email!
